Opticus -- a moon mage of very little consequence

Background

Born near Kaerna on the 4th day of the 6th month of Arhat the Fire Lion in the year of the Amber Phoenix, 367 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer.

Second son of an unremarkable Elothean landholder, he was apprenticed to the Moon Mage Guild as his father did not want to divide the family farm. He legitimately lays claim to relatives in a variety of different Guilds, and boasts that a great uncle was one of the very early members of the Traders Guild.

Current

He is a hunter of modest accomplishment with a broad range of bladed and blunt weapons, although he has failed to develop legitimate prowess with any one of them. He prefers remote and quiet locations, and has spent considerable time in Taisgath and Throne City. He maintains a home in the Crossing, but it is rumored that is more for the benefit of a prior love interest than for his personal use. He is not currently married.

Appearance

He is a fair skinned fellow, as might be expected given his Elothean stock. In dim light he might be mistaken for having great hair, but in the light of day it is clearly a an uncommon platinum colors which he wears without much attention. He is blue eyed, and generally in good shape.

He keeps his wardrobe plain and functional most of the time, although he can almost always be found wearing the insignia of his sect represented by a a polished platinum star set with a small dark sapphire. When outside the city he typically wears leather armor and brawling aids.
