The Therengian sheepdog is a large dog, about seven or eight hands high at the shoulders, though it's hard to be sure just how large due to the heavy, rope-like white fur that covers his body, hanging almost to the ground if not clipped. Bred to guard sheep against attacks from warcats or peccaries, the sheepdog's dense coat allows him to blend in with the flock and protects him against the elements. He has a large head with a dark muzzle, almond-shaped brown eyes and long, v-shaped ears that hang almost to the shoulder, though the ropey hair makes them appear even longer.
