Is it safe to assume that, for example, the S column is only supposed to contain an S, not an M? Alucardtepes 11:08, 6 November 2007 (CST)

That's the way it looks to me. There are a lot of pipes they can stick the letters between, looks like they just miscalculated where about 4 of those letters were supposed to go. But then again, I know nothing about star charts. --Kraelyst 15:15, 6 November 2007 (CST)

Planets

This site has information on the planets as well as pictures of them (not sure how to contact him to get permission though): Eldrad's Planets --Legeres 00:40, 1 February 2008 (CST)

We can just use the official ones also made by Eldrad: http://www.play.net/dr/info/solarsystem.asp
I've been wanting to add the Elanthia and Grazhir images from his site though. In his main graphics page he says anyone may use his art however they want, so we should be able to use those two here while giving him proper credit. --Aetherie 00:52, 1 February 2008 (CST)

Out of Date

At least one item (Phoenix) is incorrect. It doesn't seem to be year-round anymore. I'm including with this the "teaching" message that accompanies circling for the first fifty circles, for if someone has the inclination in the future to go through the constellations and update them. These all happened during the period of October 2010 to January 2011. Most were from Kssarh, and a few from Gylwyn. --Kittenish 22:36, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

In the case of Phoenix being year round: It is indeed year round, but its only visible for a very short window near dawn. I suppose its possible that on the longest days of the year it might not appear because the sun rises before it appears, but I don't recall that ever happening. The various in-game messaging for constellations has been off for ages, including multiple sources citing different things. The in-game starcharts are notorious for this.--Evran 23:13, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
