Talk:Quelium

Reverted edit about where it is located because there's no current indication that it will be found in alluvial mining rooms outside of Safari. --TEVESHSZAT (talk) 10:02, 6 October 2016 (CDT)
- Kodius stated that audrualm and quelium would be found in alluvial mining areas (this fact is already captured on the Mining page). Whether or not alluvial mining appear outside of the Taisidon Safari is what remains to be seen. - padhg (talk) 19:47, 6 October 2016 (CDT)
- The "remains to be seen" part is why the change was made. --TEVESHSZAT (talk) 21:02, 6 October 2016 (CDT)
- The metal was mined from in alluvial formations on Taisidon. It remains to be seen if alluvial formations are found elsewhere, but that does not make the statement "quelium is found in alluvial rock formations" incorrect. - padhg (talk) 22:58, 6 October 2016 (CDT)
- I'm not sure what statement on the wiki page you're trying to dispute. Quellium is (and always was) listed as being found in alluvial formations. That said, there is no current indication that it will be found in alluvial mining rooms outside of Safari. This is similar to how Safari lumberjacking areas, which contained "normal" wood types, had a chance of providing woods not typically found in the main game. --TEVESHSZAT (talk) 12:14, 9 October 2016 (CDT)
- There has been no official position/statement either way. You are making an assumption. "Quelium was first encountered on the Taisidon Safari 420 excursion and is minable in alluvial rock sources." is still a true statement until something happens in the game to make it untrue. - padhg (talk) 22:54, 10 October 2016 (CDT)
- Since it was announced alongside other safari-unique materials, including woods that can be found in wood types that don't always include them, and since we didn't get any additional information up until this point, I think it's as clear/honest as we can make it in its current state. Until a GM says that alluvial formations will always include it as an option, on or off Safari, we shouldn't give the impression that it can be found off safari. I will definitely encourage you to reach out to GMs if you want to have this page's language updated with more accurate text. --TEVESHSZAT (talk) 01:00, 11 October 2016 (CDT)
- There's been no promise of alluvial mining outside of the Safari either. I'm not going to change anything, but please realize your changes have as much basis in fact as the edits I made. Until we have more information both sides are valid, and there was no reason to change it from what I wrote. - padhg (talk) 10:39, 11 October 2016 (CDT)
