Transference Release Date

Does anyone remember the exact year transference was released? 1997 or 1998 wasn't it? I can't remember. --Beckah 18:07, 5 August 2008 (CDT)

I started playing in 1997, and I believe transference was released late that summer or early fall. Of course, 12 years later my memory not so perfect, so it could have been late summer/early fall of '98. I just remember the time of year (I think! heh) because of a trip I was taking when it was actually released. I missed the whole thing, decay included, but came back to a guild full of very pissed off guildmates...:) - --Kythryn 07:30, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

More ways to learn Empathy

You can learn Empathy pretty well from tending off any of the blood creatures (worms in the croc maze, sand leeches in the Muspar'i pit, etc.). As an Empath, you will also learn a fair amount of First Aid skill and a small amount of Animal Lore from this. In exchange for not learning Empathy, everyone else learns Skinning.

You can also learn some Empathy from a sucessful SHIFT on another character.

And, not good for training per say, but you do pulse a small amount of Empathy while you have a LINK open.
