Expert Bard Silverklaw Whitewysker, Scoundrel of The Locksmith Union, a Rakash.

Silverklaw gives you a little smug smile, her eyes twinkling with mischief. A silver streak through her thickly braided black hair belies age that doesn't show in her face. Two flashy gleaming swords hang in plain view on her hip, and you spot the hilt of another blade peeking out of her boot, but you're reasonably certain those are not her only weapons.

Silverklaw was born before the erection of the Great Barrier and the flight from Lyras, but, for whatever reason, she doesn't recall anything of that time. She was separated somehow from her family and her pack during the chaos of the mass exodus, and her earliest memories are of being discovered while in moonskin by a halfling ranger who called Crossing her home. This ranger, although very sweet, wasn't possessed of the best imagination when it came to monikers (she hadn't even been able to think of a name for her poor wolf), so when she saw the little silver-and-black furred cub, her first thought was how the color of the child's hands made her translucent baby-claws appear to be shining silver. "Oh! Look at the little silver claws!" and it stuck.

She picked up a love of opening boxes from her adoptive 'mother', and a love of music from tagging around behind the minstrel, listening to him play. Once she was old enough, she set off on her own, wandering to and fro, occasionally disappearing for many months at a time, but mostly staying near the Crossings. She has lately been spotted wearing a wedding band on a cord around her neck. It is unknown at this time if there is actually a significant other, or if this is just to ward off unwanted attentions.

Silverklaw tends to be flashy and ostentatious in her actions, and very much enjoys the 'gweth drama' around Crossings, frequently making snide comments to stir things along if it gets too "boring". Despite her occasional claims that she is "not to be trusted" she frequently helps young adventurers new to, and overwhelmed by, the Crossings. Gweth-drama aside, she has a low tolerance for abject stupidity, and believes a quick wit and a sharp tongue to be the best weapons against it.
