Fresh-cut rushes underfoot, the smell of balsam, cedar, and pine, and the trickle of running water make this anteroom more like a secluded garden than a merchant's tent. A tied-back yellow curtain opens the way to the salesroom of the tent. You also see a tent flap.

[Pozen Sebel, The Pottery Shop]
Paper lanterns cast a soft light on a floor covered with white pebbles, with three thin blocks of stone resting among them. The blocks of marble, of sandstone, and of slate each hold three pottery statuettes -- the Rissan Pozreman, or Luck Statues. These little figures, no bigger than a hand, are glazed in bright colors. You also see a yellow curtain and Berris.
