| Just to explain it a bit better -
Skill Composite Those are the 3 factors that influence the final item quality, and each can be bonused individually (as is indicated by some of the techniques). If any one is too low, you will be unable to cap an item even if the others are maxed. The storebought polish is of a lesser quality than the rest of your tools, and so if you were borderline it may have shoved you down. I really thought we'd have player-crafted polish by now, but seeing as we do not I'll make some higher-quality stuff available. | |
