Nope, no damage caps. There is a small % damage reduction on the chest and abdomen. These parts are the easiest to "fine target", and dealing critical wound damage to these spots would kill the enemy before it runs out of vitality, so we penalize the damage a bit.

This also makes limb removal easier/more possible - which is nice because an enemy without limbs isn't as much of a threat and continues to train for longer...
