Apparently it's Tuesday, so we did a thing! This week is a double release that brings back some old functionality that's been lost for...a while! First up -- Those interested in long lost libraries may be excited to hear that access to the Corik's Wall library has been restored! The threshold is low, but those seeking to learn from the Emerald Chronicles will need to pick their way into the library. The guards patrol often and at a regular interval, re-securing the door leading in and out, maybe even when you're in the middle of trying to thwart the mechanisms! Cheers to Lyneya for pointing us at these old mechs and to Paklin for his quick QC! And secondly, there's been a long-standing bug in the RUB verb related to demeanor checks that's been preventing most (if not all) folks from being able to RUB crafted remedies on other players. The mechs have existed to support this in the code for new remedies since craftable remedies released, but the issue wasn't pinned down until yesterday. This has been fixed, and some slight messaging adjustments, so you should now be able to RUB remedies on others, provided demeanor checks don't otherwise block the attempt! Enjoy!
