Second off, forged items should be good, but common. Permashop items should be what you suffer through using until you can afford to have someone forge you something better, but festival items (and especially auction items, should be what you folks are drooling over and shaking your cage bars to get into your mitts. Saliva should start to flow near the end of summer because you know that Hollow Eve is coming. The fact that you think it should be the opposite is slightly troubling.
