That depends. Large shields are poor at melee, and small shields are poor at range. Shields are poorer against flanking attacks. This makes parry useful, even though it does not offer ranged protection. Still, the penalties should be on the order of +/-10% max. I'll take a look at you later and see what might be going on. | |
