Signature spells are weighted towards being more rare and (I think, without having the math in front of me) that Armifer's numbers are a little worse than the real situation, but the problem he describes is very real.


I did build into the new system the ability to do spell by spell overrides (For example, I could force USOL to drop on a lower tier, but it's still going to be mixed with a LOT of other possible spells, or I could remove FM from the system) but like so many things it's more development time. It seems like all I do these days is adjust the magic core for 3.0 and 3.1 and review spells and those projects are far from done.
