DMRS and AEWO are -intended- to have lingering combat debuffs on a big enough win. That in itself is not, never has been, and never will be a bug.

Yes, there have been periodic reports of extreme duration and/or extreme penalties. Unfortunately, I have yet to be able to reproduce or find someone that is actually under an effect that is longer than intended or of higher penalty than intended.
