Greetings! A new BANK verb has been released in the Test instance. It's meant to provide some convenience for accessing your accounts remotely. It requires access to Urchin Runners to use it. Urchin Runners are a new convenience addition that will primarily be available through login rewards (when the system is ready), paid events and the Simucoin store. They may show up from time to time at raffles and auctions, too. The BANK verb is the first introduction of them, but won't be the last. Remotely storing and retrieving crafting tools is in QC for example; no ETA or extra details for that yet. Other things are planned down the line. BANK ACCOUNT: View your current bank account balance(s). BANK TRANSFER {from bank#} {to bank#} {#/ALL}: Transfer funds from one account to another BANK DEPOSIT {bank#} {#/ALL}: Send a runner with a deposit to your designated account. BANK WITHDRAW {bank#} {#/ALL}: Send a runner to make a withdrawal from your designated account. BANK DEBT {province} {#/ALL}: Send a runner to designated province to settle debts. You must be carrying the necessary funds on you. BANK NUMBERS: See a list of the bank #s used for BANK commands. Premium players get ACCOUNT and DEBT free (does not require urchin runners). F2P players can only use the ACCOUNT option. Transferring, depositing, withdrawing and paying debt are reserved for paid accounts, even with urchins available. Traders will be able to purchase a single urchin contract each month from one of their guild shops for in-game coin as a guild perk. Which specific shop is not yet determined. StormFront users can get pop-up windows for the options. Commands also work. Details on login rewards and how many/what you can earn is not part of this discussion. When we're ready to talk about details of that, we will, but urchin runners (and thus BANK) are a part of the groundwork we've been working on for a while. We plan to release this to the live games along with Duskruin next week, the 15th, but if you'd like to play with it some before then, feel free to hop over to DR:Test. There's a TEST table at Crossing Town Green North with two contracts being sold for testing purposes. There's also a TEST sign there that details them.
