Heritage Keeper and Ilithian Scholar Raelyka was searching about the Fists to see if anything was salvageable from the loss of the Crystal Hand Fortress, but paused her endeavors to entertain a discussion on current events and connections with the Plane of Probability.

Here is an accord of the encounter. (Updated with proper punctuation in Tiv's last words!)

Thanks!

Mistanna Redivas Wandering Scribe of Ilithi

You see Heritage Keeper Raelyka, an Elothean. Raelyka has an oval face, tilted almond-shaped brown eyes and a freckled nose. Her brunette hair is shoulder length and straight, and is worn pulled back in a loose ponytail bound with a black ribbon. She has pale skin and a slender figure. She is average height for an Elothean. She appears to be middle-aged. She is in good shape.

She is wearing a pair of silver-rimmed reading glasses attached to a slender silver chain, a well worn leather book satchel, a tan cotton robe, an undyed linen tunic, a pair of loose woolen pants and some raw leather sandals with soft soles.

[Lava Flow, Rocky Path] The evening smiles down on a small flower lingering near the road side. It appears withered and dying at first glance, but as the night unfolds, so does a pure white snowblossom - one spot of beauty within a realm of decay and death. Also here: Court Adjutant Powerhaus who has a fiery visage and Heritage Keeper Raelyka.

Powerhaus puts a blackened balaclava with a grim red visage on his head. You beam at Raelyka! You bob a quick curtsy. Raelyka digs through some of the ash. You say, "Good afternoon m'lady." Raelyka says, "Oh, excuse me." Raelyka dusts herself off. Powerhaus casually observes the area. Powerhaus nods to Raelyka. Raelyka says, "And I'm hardly a lady." You say to Raelyka, "No pardon needed." You grin sheepishly. You say, "It is not polite? Similar to ma'am but, perhaps it is just how I was raised." Observer Lijarna just arrived. Raelyka says, "True, true. Just not what I'm use to." Raelyka says, "Books don't tend to m'lady you." Raelyka smiles. You try hard not to grin. Raelyka asks, "What brings you out this way? Have you seen anything interesting?" Powerhaus gazes up at the sky. Powerhaus says, "Slugs raining from the sky." Raelyka says, "Well, yes, there's that." You say to Raelyka, " We just chased off another swell of Dergati's minions from Crossing." You nod to Powerhaus. Raelyka says, "It's a sad statement on the world that that hardly falls under interesting these days." You exclaim to Raelyka, "Had you heard of these glass shards yet? There is hope to bring sunlight to Peri'el!" Lijarna says, "The defenders fought quite staggering foes. That we still stand strong is encouraging." Raelyka nods. You nod at Lijarna, in complete agreement with her views. Raelyka says, "Good, good. Hope is always in such short supply." Raelyka says, "All of this..." Raelyka sweeps her arms around. Powerhaus says to you, "They protected some people from the poisons." Raelyka says, "It's just a bit overwhelming." You nod to Powerhaus. You say to Powerhaus, "Myself as well, very thankful for that." (Mistanna gazes at the snowblossom with a soft smile.) Lijarna scans the sky from horizon to horizon. Something seems to catch Raelyka's eye in the ashes. She moves over to prod at it but quickly becomes disinterested when it becomes apparently it's little more than a metal fragment glimmering in the wane light. Powerhaus casually observes the area. You ask Raelyka, "What of yourself? Is all well?" Powerhaus asks Raelyka, "Looking for something particular?" Raelyka says, "As well as could be, all things considered, which I suppose isn't well at all." You scrunch your eyebrows together and furrow your brow. Powerhaus grins. Lijarna grins wearily. Raelyka says to Powerhaus, "Yes and no. I've heard reports of a few fragments from the guild surfacing." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus says, "Ah." Powerhaus says, "Interesting." Lijarna asks, "Was there aught to be salvaged from the guildhall?" You ask Raelyka, "Do you know if any of the relics were saved?" Raelyka says, "It was full of relics, knowledge, artifacts and who knows what else. The eruption almost certainly destroyed most of it." Raelyka nods to you. Raelyka says, "Exactly." Powerhaus says to Raelyka, "I worry about that piece of mirror." Powerhaus says, "Somewhat." You nod at Powerhaus, in complete agreement with his views. You shudder. Raelyka says, "Nothing noteworthy has surfaced yet, a few ruined books, fragments of stone and such." Lijarna cocks her head. Raelyka asks, "Hardly worth noting, but what else can we do but try?" Powerhaus searches around for a moment. Raelyka says, "Such a senseless loss of knowledge." Powerhaus nods. You manage to find a rock. You frown at a rock. You drop a rock. Raelyka says, "I don't even know how many books were original copies." Raelyka says, "It seems hard to believe any of them could have survived." Powerhaus nods. Lijarna asks, "Though if a moon mage cannot find something, then who else could?" Raelyka smiles at Lijarna. Raelyka says to Lijarna, "There is that." Powerhaus asks, "Hopefully not the wrong hands?" You ask, "Perhaps? Tis hard to say when something might have fallen just so under a rock or something perhaps?" You prod a rock with the tip of your finger. Raelyka asks, "Were any of you here during the, ah, incident?" You wince. Lijarna puts her helm in her backpack. You nod to Raelyka. You say, "That uh.. burned a little." You rub your neck. Lijarna shudders. Raelyka adjusts her reading glasses into place. Powerhaus grins. Lijarna says, "I can't imagine." Powerhaus asks you, "Came down like a buncha slugs falling from the sky?" You try hard not to grin. You nod at Powerhaus, in complete agreement with his views. Raelyka says to you, "What was it like? I've heard a few reports, but more would certainly be welcome." You say, "It was... a little confusing. I almost felt like I should run and try to evacuate, or something. But with Tiv possessed by... what we think may have been the Arbiter? It was impossible to break myself away." You say, "He went through a moongate of silver to the hall of relics, and then, sploosh." Raelyka jots down some notes. You mutter something into the air about what he said. Raelyka says, "Yes, that matches with what I've heard. Why would he..." Raelyka ponders. Powerhaus asks you, "Can you describe those shadow things?" You ask Powerhaus, "Which?" Powerhaus says to you, "That crept into the hall." You nibble your lip thoughtfully. Powerhaus says, "Someone said shadows crept in before he started glowing." Powerhaus scratches his head. Lijarna ponders. You say, "It looked quite similar to the visions. Crimson swirls of mist or fog, but tinged with such a darkness..." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus ponders. Powerhaus says, "That crimson..." Raelyka peers quizzically at Powerhaus. Powerhaus says, "Shadows with streaks of red." Powerhaus says, "Seems to be a reoccuring theme of these visions and events." You say, "Tiv seemed, lost. But as he finished that prayer to Phelim, a star flashed and then he stood and spoke in a voice, not his own." Powerhaus says, "The shadows make sense... the red part I find curious." Powerhaus nods to you. Raelyka says, "I wish I'd been there. If it really was the Arbiter in Darkness that he called on, encounters with him, it, are so rare and ill documented." Lijarna asks, "Shadows like those that comprise servants and shadowlings, or something different?" You say, "Different, I think." Raelyka says to Powerhaus, "Perhaps Pelag ai Aldam's touch. I shudder to think of the implications if that is right, but it seems increasingly clear he's tangled up with all this." You scrunch your eyebrows together and furrow your brow. Lijarna frowns solemnly at Raelyka. You ask Raelyka, "Miskton had similar thoughts, though... the Servant working With Dergati?" You shudder. You fret. Lijarna says, "That is an ill omen." Powerhaus ponders. Powerhaus says, "Interesting." Raelyka says to you, "That doesn't fit with what we know of him. But then again, what we know of him is fragmented and speculative at best." You say to Raelyka, "Had you heard an account of what Tiv had spoken? I remember well enough to recite it." Raelyka says to you, "I heard he spoke something before the end, but I've not yet had a first hand account of it." You gaze off into the distance blankly. You recite: Today is a day of Gods and men; not of us. He overreaches himself. He cannot change; those who came before you made that truth manifest. I will not undo what has been done; I will not ape his crimes. I give this vessel what is sought; I will not be thanked for it. The future is of your own making, for he sees only one; I will intervene no more.

You say, "And then... he cried... although his eyes changed to a frosty white." Powerhaus nods. You gaze sadly at Raelyka. Raelyka jots down some notes. Raelyka asks, "Anything else?" Lijarna furrows her brow. Powerhaus ponders. You nibble your lip thoughtfully. Powerhaus asks you, "The vision that led you to Tiv?" You say, "There was one, it prompted me to visit the new shrine by the guildhall in Crossings." You recite: "You stagger as your mind is suddenly gripped by a vision. A slender S'Kra Mur woman lies supine in a cavernous hall of green basalt. The barest echo of a sibilant melody hangs in the air for a few moments until all is silent. The woman looks small in the vastness of the cavern, her form pale and still. An archaic man approaches, bald and tanned, a nightingale perched upon his shoulder. At his approach, a shrike dives and shrieks, attempting to drive him off, but the nightingale takes flight, distracting the other bird. The man kneels at the woman's side, torches limning his features with ruddy, red light. The vision fades before you can see what happens next."

Raelyka jots down some notes. Raelyka nods. Raelyka says, "I saw something similiar before... things happened." Powerhaus says, "Ruddy, that's fairly healthy." You ask Raelyka, "Has Tiv been seen, since?" Lijarna nods to Powerhaus. Raelyka shakes her head at you. Raelyka says to you, "No. No one knows what happened to him. Many fear the worst." Powerhaus ponders. Raelyka says, "No one has been able to scry him in any fashion and he's made no contact with anyone." Powerhaus asks, "Perhaps... he's something else now?" Powerhaus ponders. Powerhaus says, "If possessed by the Arbiter." Powerhaus says, "Or Phelim." Powerhaus asks, "Maybe he's become something else?" Raelyka ponders. You scrunch your eyebrows together and furrow your brow. Powerhaus says, "Like how some Immortals take up avatars." Lijarna says, "I wonder how that might affect any attempts to scry him." Raelyka asks, "Speculative, but what isn't?" Raelyka asks Powerhaus, "Like the Prince you mean?" Powerhaus says, "Similiar." Powerhaus says, "I was thinking more like Asketi's high priest." Lijarna says, "Could we still hope to find Tiv through such means if he currently isn't quite Tiv..." Powerhaus says, "But yeah, Vorclaf would be like what I was thinking too." Powerhaus says, "Just another random thought." Powerhaus grins. Raelyka says, "I don't know. I doubt anyone does. We'll need to wait and see." Powerhaus nods. Raelyka asks, "What do you make of Tiv's words?" You nibble your lip thoughtfully. Powerhaus says to himself, "Morlaena too and Huldah." Powerhaus says to Raelyka, "Spoken strangely..." The endless roiling clouds above grow ominously darker as the day begins drawing to a close. Raelyka nods to Powerhaus. You say, "I think from the phrasing, that it was not Phelim. It seemed like the gods were referenced distantly, and men with more familiarity..." Lijarna nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views. Raelyka nods to you. Raelyka says, "The Arbiter in Darkness seems as good a fit as any, better than most." Powerhaus nods. Raelyka says, "It would not be the first time the Arbiter in Darkness and Pelag ai Aldam came in conflict with one another." You say, "I hear the Arbiter is a bit of a... literalist. So then my question would be what exactly Tiv had asked for, or... what the Arbiter gave him." Powerhaus asks, "Hope?" Raelyka says to you, "A very good question. I think the words support it." You say to Powerhaus, "I like that one. I think Tiv, of any of us, is a vessel of worth." Raelyka says, "I cannot believe Tiv would call on the Arbiter in Darkness if he felt he had any other choice. He is not a rash man." Powerhaus says, "Those visions affected him greatly." You nod in agreement. Powerhaus says, "I've never seen him shaken like that before." Raelyka says, "Yes. They were almost aggressively centered on him." Raelyka says, "Given that the visions ceased after that day, having not come to pass." You ask, "I wonder though, the other visions of darkness in the guildhalls, was it misdirection? Purposefull?" Raelyka nods to you. Raelyka says, "It seems likely." You ask, "By Dergati, or the Servant?" You fret. Raelyka says, "Perhaps they were alternate futures and Tiv's actions thwarted them? That's a more comforting interpretation, but that doesn't mean it's the right one." You nod at Raelyka, in complete agreement with her views. Lijarna cocks her head. Powerhaus says, "I'd think the Servant..." Powerhaus says, "They would've known about all this in advance I'd think..." Raelyka says, "If we assume the 'he' in Tiv's words is Pelag ai Aldam, that has some very unsettling implications." Powerhaus nods. You blink. You say to Raelyka, "I had thought 'he' referred to Tiv. That is... a curious perspective." Lijarna says, "It's often confusing enough to think of how we interact with the Servant and the Immortals separately, but to bring all these forces into play at the same time is quite staggering." You nod at Lijarna, in complete agreement with her views. Lijarna asks, "What interplay might exist between the thirteen and the denizens of the plane of probability?" Raelyka says, "I don't think the 'he' can be Tiv." Raelyka asks, "How did Tiv overreach himself? Was he not capable of change? What crimes did he commit?" Untethered Locistone just arrived. Lijarna nods at Raelyka, obviously agreeing with her views. You say, "Perhaps in his stretch to the Arbiter? That it would be Pelag ai Aldam makes more sense though." Raelyka says, "If the 'he' is Pelag ai Aldam, then it would seem the speaker, the Arbiter in Darkness, is chastising him for getting involved with Dergati." Lijarna says, "Also with how he refers to Tiv as 'this vessel', it seems 'he' is another." Powerhaus asks, "I think if we tried to phrase it better, maybe we could make more sense of it?" Powerhaus says, "He, you, and I..." Powerhaus says, "Three subjects in his speech." You blink. Raelyka says, "And the vessel." Powerhaus nods. Raelyka says, "And us." Raelyka says, "Today is a day of Gods and men not of us. He overreaches himself." You say, "I wonder in the vision of the Servant, where blood pools from his hands... something feels, wrong. It echoes the wrongness while that crimson and dark fog was seeping in, perhaps..." Powerhaus asks, "Men not of us... or day of gods and men, not of us?" Raelyka says, "The implication is that the speaker is neither God nor man." Powerhaus nods. Raelyka says, "He cannot change those who came before you made that truth manifest." Raelyka says, "That is what particullarly makes me think 'he' is Pelag ai Aldam." You nod in agreement. Raelyka says, "Pelag ai Aldam is the embodiment of Fatalism." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus jots down some notes. Raelyka says, "And those who came before us Named him." Powerhaus says to himself, "Fatalism..." Raelyka says, "In Naming him we further defined him." Powerhaus nods. Lijarna nods to Raelyka. Lijarna says, "As in the visions seen by bards brave enough to travel to the Planar Telescope." Raelyka nods to Lijarna. Raelyka says, "Exactly." Raelyka asks, "The why is what eludes me. Why is Pelag ai Aldam involved in this? What is his purpose?" You scrunch your eyebrows together and furrow your brow. Powerhaus asks, "He's tired of his job?" Lijarna asks, "If he is so fatalistic, what guides him?" Raelyka cracks a wane smile. Powerhaus asks, "Hasn't he been acting... 'off' in some of the visions lately?" Powerhaus says to Lijarna, "He's a concept..." Powerhaus says, "It's..." Raelyka nods to Powerhaus. Lijarna asks, "Does he feel that he is destined to do these things?" Raelyka says, "It's hard to explain, it's such an alien way to exist." Powerhaus says, "Like... if love, life, or hope were embodied... just fatalism and more.." Lijarna nods in agreement. Powerhaus nods to Raelyka. Raelyka says, "It defines his nature and he, more than any of them, cannot defy that nature." Powerhaus says to Lijarna, "Sorry a lot of these concepts are extra strange to me, so i try to explain them the best I can rationalize it." Powerhaus nods to Raelyka. Powerhaus says to Raelyka, "I think you have something there." You mutter something into the air about his only place. Lijarna says to Powerhaus, "I think it helps to have the experience of one who is not so closely tied to these things." Lijarna grins at Powerhaus. Powerhaus grins at Lijarna. Powerhaus says, "I have an odd way of seeing things anyway." Lijarna says, "An anchor in more tangible magics and views brings a valuable perspective." Raelyka says, "I have a theory about why Pelag ai Aldam hates us so, though it's not yet widely accepted." You cock your head at Raelyka. Lijarna gazes at Raelyka. Raelyka says, "I admit, him and the others are somewhat of a hobby of mine in my studies." Raelyka says, "Well, what is Fatalism? It's that belief that no matter what action we take, the same results will occur." Raelyka says, "Your child is sick. Either he's fated to recover or to die, and whichever it is will happen - so seeking treatment doesn't matter." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus says, "Hmm... so if Tiv changed things..." Powerhaus says, "Potential outcomes." Powerhaus ponders. Raelyka says, "It's more than that." Powerhaus nods. You say to Raelyka, "But that is just... silly. The inaction still has an effect." Raelyka says, "Fatalism vs Free Will." Raelyka asks, "How do you prove which is correct?" You ponder. Raelyka points at Lijarna. Raelyka points at Locistone. Raelyka points at you. Raelyka points at herself. Raelyka says, "Us. Prophecy." Lijarna scans the sky from horizon to horizon. Raelyka says, "We see the future, and we change what happens." Raelyka says, "You can argue about the extent and the methodology." You nod to Raelyka. Lijarna asks, "And in so doing, we challenge fatalism, no?" Lijarna asks, "Perhaps even deny it?" Raelyka says, "Essentially." Raelyka asks, "So what does Fatalism do when confronted with something that defies it?" Raelyka asks, "Can Pelag ai Aldam accept that his world view is wrong? That Fatalism does not rule us?" You ponder. You say, "He doesn't seem the type, no." Raelyka says, "Can he even consider that the very concept that defines him could be wrong? I doubt it." Lijarna says, "From the sounds of how one such as he views the world, I don't think he has that capacity." Raelyka says to Lijarna, "That is, in essence, my argument." Powerhaus says, "If he was named and changed." Powerhaus asks, "Could he be changed again?" Raelyka says, "I do not think so, no." Powerhaus nods. Raelyka says, "Which all presents us with a very real problem." Raelyka says, "And no clear way to proceed." Raelyka says, "Prior to this, if this is in fact his work, I do not know of his influence extending to our plane." You say, "Tis not like we can give favors or prayers to the Fighter or the Servant..." Lijarna asks, "He only seems to exist within that plane. Have any ever tried to challenge him there?" Raelyka says, "And perhaps the Arbiter in Darkness is holding his power in check." Raelyka says, "He is native to the Plane of Probability. I can only speculate how powerful he is there, but I do not believe he could be defeated there." Lijarna asks, "If Pelag is an embodiment of fatalism, what does the Arbiter represent?" Raelyka says, "I do not know the extent of his powers in the Astral Plane, but even if that would place us on an even footing - his powers are still vast and I think we all know how well such conflicts usually end." Lijarna grins wryly. You wince. Lijarna nods in agreement. Raelyka says, "Starlight." Powerhaus ponders. You gaze up at the sky. Powerhaus says to you, "Makes me think of Damaris." You gaze thoughtfully at Powerhaus. Raelyka says, "There are five primary beings of the Plane of Probability we know of, though we know little enough of most of them." Powerhaus says to you, "The night sky, one of his altars is a sea of night of sorts." You nod to Powerhaus. Lijarna ponders. Raelyka says, "The other three are the Abyssal Child, the Emperor of the Line and Entropy's Glory." Powerhaus says to you, "Also that nightingale headed panther tattoo the First has among his others." Lijarna asks, "Do you believe they are all native to the Plane of Probability?" You say to Powerhaus, "I'd not seen that one. A curious one." Powerhaus nods to you. Lijarna says, "A being of starlight seems as though it may have ties to the astral plane." Powerhaus says, "He has a few, they tend to flare when you strike him." Powerhaus says to you, "More than a few rather.." Raelyka says, "I've no reason to believe they are not native to the Plane of Probability. Remember, they are concepts made manifest - the Plane of Probability is filled with such beings, these are just the foremost amongst them." Lijarna says, "Though that may just be too literal of an interpretation." Raelyka says, "There may be more, but these five are the only ones we've documented encounters with." Lijarna asks, "Do any of the others seem to have particular interest in our doings?" Raelyka says, "The other three have been encountered less." Raelyka says, "The only documented encounter with the Abyssal Child did not go well." Powerhaus grins. Raelyka says, "Jon Ilbani is the only encounter of note with the Emperor of the Line, though even that encounter is controversial." Raelyka says, "Keep in mind, most of what I speak of is tiny scraps of information passed down through numerous mages over hundreds of years and the mages who experience this first hand are rarely left in a condition to properly report what happened." Powerhaus nods. Lijarna says, "As is the way with such rare encounters." Powerhaus asks, "Maddened?" Raelyka says, "There are those who believe some, or all, of these 'spirits' do not even exist." Raelyka says to Powerhaus, "Frequently." Powerhaus grins. Raelyka says, "I do not agree with their conclusions, but I understand why they would think such." Powerhaus grins. Raelyka says, "I apologize, I tend to get carried away discussing these topics." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus says, "S'ok, I'm learning." Lijarna says, "I wonder if there is something happening on the Plane of Probability that would cause him to act out in such a manner, if it is ineed him." Raelyka says, "It is not as if we've nothing else to concern ourselves with currently." Powerhaus nods to you. You flash a quick grin at Powerhaus. > "}Rael No pardons needed, tis always nice to find other mages willing to wax philosophical. You say to Raelyka, "No pardons needed, tis always nice to find other mages willing to wax philosophical." Powerhaus asks, "The Emperor, what did they do?" Raelyka says, "Ah. Mathematics." Powerhaus grins. Raelyka says, "It would seem Jon Ilbani corrected for it's existence." Raelyka says, "Which was needed to stabilize the entire field of Enlightened Geometry." Raelyka says, "I'm afraid to this day it's not very well understood what Jon did." Powerhaus asks, "Moongates and teleporting and such?" Raelyka nods to Powerhaus. Powerhaus nods. Raelyka says, "Prior to their confrontation such magics were rather unreliable." Powerhaus says, "Yeah, I've heard about some of those accidents from history..." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus asks, "Didn't an Emperor die from that?" You ask Raelyka, "Was that when the obelisks were used?" Raelyka says, "No. The Obelisks are far older." Raelyka says, "Far, far older." Powerhaus nods. You nod to Raelyka. Powerhaus asks, "Further back than the history of the Moon mages?" Raelyka nods to Powerhaus. Raelyka says, "Much." Powerhaus nods. Lijarna ponders. Raelyka says, "It's commonly believed they predate the destruction of Grazhir." Powerhaus nods. You say, "So much lost knowledge." Raelyka says to you, "And more is lost every day it seems." You look around casually. Powerhaus says, "But always learning more too." You nod to Raelyka. Lijarna grins at Powerhaus. Lijarna says, "It is important to look forward as well as back." You smile at Lijarna. You nod in agreement. Raelyka says, "True." You ask Raelyka, "Is Cashek gand Aldam one of the five you mentioned by a different name?" Raelyka shakes her head. Raelyka says, "Not so far as I know." Locistone says, "There is a woman who has spoken to me in the astral plane. She seemed to want to help." You nod to Locistone. Locistone says, "I had wandered to the grey expanse shortly after but then fell free and safe." Raelyka says, "Yes, that's Cashek gand Aldam. Little is known about her. I don't know of any encounters outside of that plane." You ponder. Raelyka says, "It is good to know we have some allies, mysterious though they may be." Raelyka says, "I'm not sure I would count the Arbiter in Darkness as an ally." Powerhaus nods. Raelyka says, "We must be careful not to personify these forces too closely." You nod to Raelyka. Raelyka says, "To do so makes it very easy to make grave errors of speculation and assumption." Lijarna nods. Lijarna says, "If they are guided by such forces as probability and fate, it is likely they do not necessarily think in terms of ally and enemy as we do." Raelyka nods to Lijarna. Raelyka says, "That seems almost certain." Court Advisor Cyiarriah just arrived. Cyiarriah nods politely. You flash a wide grin at Cyiarriah. Raelyka nods to Cyiarriah. Powerhaus waves to Cyiarriah. Raelyka says, "Well, I should get back to my search. Hopefully we'll hear some word of Tiv soon." Powerhaus says to Cyiarriah, "Wandered up here with Mistanna, ran into Raelyka looking for anything lying around from the ruins." You nod at Raelyka, in complete agreement with her views. Powerhaus says, "Been talking a bit." Powerhaus nods to Raelyka. Cyiarriah nods to Powerhaus. Lijarna nods to Raelyka. Powerhaus says to Cyiarriah, "It was raining slugs earlier too." Powerhaus grins. Locistone smiles at Raelyka. Powerhaus exclaims to Cyiarriah, "Splat!" You ask Raelyka, "Would you mind company while you look? We can cover more ground perhaps?" Raelyka says, "So much death and destruction lately." Cyiarriah blanches. You shudder. Cyiarriah says, "Gross..." You say, "Ugh, slugs." Lijarna says, "It's been a very thought-provoking discussion, to be sure." Powerhaus nods to Lijarna. Locistone scans the sky from horizon to horizon. You nod at Lijarna, in complete agreement with her views. You carefully search the skies looking for further insight into future events. Lijarna scans the sky from horizon to horizon. Raelyka says to you, "I should report in soon, perhaps find a meal, before returning." Locistone gestures. Locistone gets a sharkskin-wrapped telescope from inside his telescope case. You smile at Raelyka. You nod in agreement. Raelyka says, "I don't really expect much to survive, but you're welcome to search of course. More eyes are always welcome." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus says to Raelyka, "Thank you for the time." Lijarna gestures. Raelyka says to Powerhaus, "Of course." Cyiarriah nods politely. Locistone puts his eye to a sharkskin-wrapped telescope. Raelyka says, "I'm always happy to share knowledge." Powerhaus nods. Powerhaus says, "I'm sure the moon mages have a lot more to discuss now." Locistone puts his telescope in his telescope case. Powerhaus says, "Extra insight and all." You nod at Powerhaus, in complete agreement with his views. Lijarna says to Raelyka, "Yes, thank you for sharing what you know. Such is a good way to help ensure that knowledge isn't lost." You say to Raelyka, "Aye, thanks kindly for sitting about and discussing with us." Lijarna says, "Most of us are more resilient than a book, even if we might not hold information as easily or reliably." Raelyka says, "Perhaps next time we'll have cushions and tea." You beam at Raelyka! Raelyka smiles. You say, "Mmm tea." You grin sheepishly. Lijarna smiles. Lijarna says, "Safe paths, everyone." Lijarna waves. Cyiarriah waves. You wave to Lijarna. Observer Lijarna drifts east. Locistone says to Raelyka, "Thank you for some clarity." Raelyka waves. Raelyka nods to Locistone. Locistone waves. Raelyka says to Locistone, "What little I can offer." Locistone smiles. Raelyka raises her palms skyward, chanting. You recognize the familiar mnemonics of the Refractive Field spell. Powerhaus waves. Powerhaus casually observes the area. Powerhaus grins. Raelyka gestures. The air around Raelyka begins to shimmer oddly. Powerhaus says to Cyiarriah, "Poof." You exclaim, "Have a good evenin. I think I'll wander about a bit. Take care!"
