Albuam described it as the first encounter he had in the land of the dragons, far to the west. He saw the majestic creature, lumbering and earthbound but still frightfully quick for something of its size, chasing after a few goats that were escaping up a mountain face. Moved by the beast's clear nobility, Albuam took it upon himself and his trusty bow to aid the dragon. Albuam's arrows hit their mark (Albuam's arrows are described as always hitting their mark) where the behemoth could not reach.
