Quarterly Estate Holder meeting log FC 6/27/2020 · on 6/27/2020 16:51 694
[Fang Cove, Community Gazebo]

Several tethered bamboo tables surrounded by cane chairs are scattered about the large area, softly lit by elongated brass lanterns that hang overhead. A makeshift speaker's podium stands at one end, while at the opposing end, a stacked riverstone fireplace crackles with the warmth of an inviting fire. Groups of local residents mill about the area, each quietly discussing the day's events and enjoying a refreshing drink at a small provisional bar nearby. You also see a question list.
Also here: Hoger, Voranos, Fiasko, Daeryean, Vymos, Vanthala, Ravenwolf, Rafano, Bakar, Zinchaga, Ulryg, Ssarek, Sall, Lasaia, Miskton, Kalinandra, Elizzibiana, Isaish, Crystell, Dantia, GameMaster Winna and GameMaster Tullie.
Obvious exits: out.

Sall is next.

Tullie exclaims, "Hello Sall!"

Sall says, "Hi."

Sall asks, "I know there used to be a storyline for Fang Cove...is it dead? Should we expect it to remain a primitive remote island forever?"

Tullie inhales a great swallow of air.

Tullie says, "Oh, sure. Go for the big question."

Sall says, "It is my honor."

Sall winks at Tullie.

Tullie says, "In longer term plans, I hope and wish to expand Fang Cove. What that may look like - is still being defined. It's going to be a very large project."

Sall says, "Long term, yes. Big, yes. But incremental improvements seem possible. I'm not as concerned with it having a full hunting ladder as I am with it having, say, more than huts."

Tullie says, "If you have ideas on what you'd like to see, I always welcome them. Currently the best email to send to is dr-events@play.net."

Sall says, "Fair enough."

Tullie says to Sall, "In my head, I have grand ideas."

Tullie says, "It will be a team project when we're finally ready to start moving forward with it."

Winna says, "Tullie and the rest of the team have been slowly improving Fang Cove with updates that made the Gem buyer, furrier, and I believe the repair guy hire new employees."

Winna says, "For better coverage."

Sall says, "24/7 Fang Cove is appreciated."

Sall says, "But as I noted...STORY line."

Kalinandra says, "If we doooo add more creatures here, my vote is for the non-living variety."

Sall says, "This is an undead-free island."

Sall exclaims, "Anyway, thanks!"

Winna exclaims, "Yes, now you can have drinks with the shop owners at the bar!"

Kalinandra says, "Constructs would be fine."

Winna says, "Or at least I think they're supposed to wander into the bar on their down time."

Sall says, "Now that I've asked the worst possible question, I'm done."

Hoger says, "Gremlins are kind of fun though."

Kalinandra asks, "And I think the drowned ones are undead?"

Illthorne says, "Hahahah. underwater hunting. that's a laugh."

Gwenddolyn says, "As long as they didnt drown in the bar."

Tullie says, "Sorry, writing down notes and words."

Hoger says, "Talk about drowning your sorrows."

Sall says, "Just have a big investor come in and build a resort. That's what most islands do."

Winna asks, "Is that why Fang Cove has an unending supply of Drowned Ones?"

Illthorne asks, "I think pretty much no one hunts underwater?"

Hoger says, "Probably only use for air bubble."

Illthorne says, "Yeah but then the additional mechanics are so bad still no one bothers."

Sall says, "Oh...I suppose I should add that currently the tunnel through the mountain makes the new housing area dangerous for inexperienced characters to reach."

Sall says, "Something to consider."

Tullie says, "I'm going to move to the next question but, again - please email us if you have ideas. Story line and buildings."

Kalinandra is next.

Kalinandra asks, "Mine's fairly easy?"

Kalinandra says, "Would it be possible to add some sort of distinguishing feature to each of the forges here in Fang Cove? They're all identical and its disorienting when you're trying to figure out where you are."

Winna says, "I'll put that on my list."

Kalinandra exclaims, "Thanks!"

Vymos asks, "Is there an update on these gods forsaken magical barriers? I keep trying to loan people my knife and it just isn t working as well as it should. So my question is can we know if it is actively still being worked on?"

Vymos says, "That is my question."

Tullie says, "That's outside my realm of knowledge."

Vymos says, "That is fine but an update sometime from someone with knowledge would be appreciated."

Tullie asks, "I can pass on the question, but have you posted on the forums?"

Tullie says, "I'd include details on what you mean by "loaned your knife"."

Vymos says, "It has been posted many times."

Tullie says, "I don't want to get this meeting off track, as it's intended to focus on Estate Holder issues..."

Tullie says, "But, if you want to stick around afterwards, I can try and gather some details from you and pass them up the chain."

Tullie says, "I've also been told that I'm allowed to say the Barrier Review is still planned, but is not actively being worked on at the moment."

Tullie says, "Moving along then."

Skaen is next.

You say, "With the rotating shops, we're up to 11 now I believe."

You ask, "Is it possible for two shops to show up at a time or the cooldown to be cut in half?"

You say, "It's a month and a half wait for a shop to roll back around now."

Tullie says, "Two shops should be showing up at the same time now."

Tullie says to you, "You're ruining your surprise for next month."

You say, "I mean two shops from each split."

You grin.

Tullie says, "Nope."

Tullie says, "The mechanics won't allow that."

You ask, "Another split then?"

You ask, "So three groups of 4?"

Tullie exclaims to Winna, "They HATE surprises!"

Tullie says, "I only have 11 shops...."

Tullie says, "Need 12 before I."

Tullie says, "Will split them again..."

Dantia says, "Ooh, brainstorming session."

Zinchaga says, "Something tells me this is going to be a moot point before long."

Tullie says to Dantia, "More like, time to build. The shop is planned, named, and.... almost ready for building."

Winna says, "I think what she's saying is that 11 isn't very divisible."

Winna says, "And 12 is a much better number for things."

You say, "Thanks, that's all I had on that."

Winna says, "So to get to step B, we have to hit A first."

Kalinandra says, "Oooooh we should have a contest for people to design stuff for a new store."

Tullie says, "As we continue to add more shops to the rotation, we will continue to evaluate when it makes sense to split."

Tullie says to Kalinandra, "That has been on my mind also."

Kalinandra asks, "Maybe give categories and let people go with it?"

Gwenhwyfach says, "With all the traders here right now, we could do it in 10 roisen."

Kalinandra says, "If nothing else it offers ideas for the craftspeople to work with in the future."

Rifkinn says, "That is not fair."

Tullie says, "If I do decide to run a contest, and that's an IF at the moment, I will post all the details on the forums and invite everyone to join in."

Tullie says, "Personally, I was leaning towards seeing if folks wanted to write new smoke images but - I need to dive into the system more first anyway."

Tullie says, "Moving along."

Raxxall says, "Id just like to make a suggestion. I think there needs to be some kind of grace period for people returning to the game after an extended time away to learn some of the new stuff. For example I have SO to the point Im banished for 4 of the 5 provinces right now. I didnt even know what I did until I got a GM involved. This makes the game almost unplayable and discouraging."

Raxxall says, "Thats all I got."

Tullie says, "I can pass that feedback on. I, usually recommend people try a new character when they first come back simply because the game has changed a lot."

Tullie says, "And it can be a lot easier to pick up on those changes when you don't try playing your 'normal' style immediately."

Raxxall says, "It is what it is."

Raxxall says, "Was just a suggestion."

Raxxall says, "Might keep people here and playin."

Tullie says, "The returner's guide on Elanthipedia is definitely helpful, but first folks have to know to find it."

Tullie says, "I'll pass your suggestion along though."

Ulryg says, "Is it possible to have the Vault books we can get show the contents of a family vault? Or a vault book for the family vault."

Winna says, "Wearing outrageous items is definitely an oddity and not common."

Ulryg says, "Would make it easier to look at a vault book if the vault is full."

Winna says, "I know that some sort of method to view family vaults is on a to-do list."

Tullie says, "Oh it would, it would in fact make things easier."

Tullie says, "The two systems are not quite interchangeable though."

Ulryg asks, "What about ethe urchins bringing you a list from either vault?"

Gwenhwyfach says, "They did it to the trader storage books."

Tullie says, "Oh, that's interesting. I'll pass it on to the GM who manages family vaults."

Ulryg says, "Thanks."

Winna says to Tullie, "He knows. It's been on his to-do list for a bit."

Tullie says, "I know, i just meant the urchin list idea."

Winna says to Tullie, "The problem is that his to-do list is a mile long."

Tullie says, "I like that."

Tullie says, "I keep adding to it."

Winna says to Tullie, "Yeah.. I also have talked to him on that too."

Winna says to Tullie, "But mainly I think we want the VAULT verb."

Winna says, "Or something like that."

Ulryg says, "I love the Urchins."

Tullie says, "But, that means I have no reason to keep making pretty vault books."

Winna says, "You can still make them."

You say, "I do like the customizable covers for books."

Winna exclaims, "I still have a pretty bank book!"

Winna says, "Even if we do have BANK."

Kalinandra says, "Custom everything."

You say, "Better if we could remove them though, like a dust jacket."

Sortny asks, "What about recovering them?"

Tullie says, "They're not that smart."

Tullie says, "You can put a cover on, but it just... doesn't want to come off."

Kalinandra says, "One thing I would lovelovelove to see is a scroll stacker like those sigil stackers where you can rub the cover to change the color. Probably unrelated to this conversation though unless they come out as a rotating shop."

Tullie says, "We're just, gonna move along..."

Tullie says to Winna, "They're kind of terrifying when they get into idea mode."

Kalinandra exclaims, "Hey I've asked about that one before!"

Rafano laughingly says to Tullie, "Makes sense now why you always run these in pairs. Emotional support."

Parned asks, "Im wondering with all the new stuff like flare items that train skills so on is the Squat Bungalow going to have items updated to better fit the times?"

Tullie says, "I decided it's too early for my usual method of coping."

Licsidio says to Parned, "Good question."

Winna asks, "When you say flare, I think enchantment, but I think you're using flare as another adjective?"

Parned says, "And also with ltb's being a set thing no way to grind."

Parned says, "Maybe lower the price on the stuff a bit."

Parned says, "I mean weapon."

Parned says, "Armor flare."

Tullie says, "I have plans to revamp Squat Bungalow and Dragon's Horde, but those are also both large projects."

Winna asks, "Okay, so you're checking to see if Squat Bungalow can be updated with flared weapons and armor?"

Parned says, "And items i mean the books that train skills ropes so on."

Parned says, "I mean stuff thats useful items."

Tullie says, "We do have the almanacs in the Squat Bungalow now."

Parned says, "Seeing how ltb's are kind of a speical currenc."

Winna says, "Useful is subjective, so sometimes that's a little difficult."

Voranos asks, "Could we get skill specific almanacs?"

Tullie says, "No."

Tullie says, "The skill specific almanacs will not appear in the squat bungalow."

Winna says, "Specialized almanacs will be exclusive to the events they're in."

Voranos asks, "Even random skill groups?"

Sall asks, "Skillset or skill?"

Licsidio asks Parned, "Do you mean something comparable to MT items as we are paying quite a bit more than those just droping some coin on MT's?"

Tullie says, "The only almanac that will appear in the squat bungalow is already there."

Voranos asks, "How about temporary trainers that are useful like Parned mentioned like lockpick trainers for 105 per day or the crocodiles for skin/fa?"

Zinchaga quietly says, "We actually went over this last year."

Tullie says, "I can add those to my list of things to look at including, but I would not expect them to be the exact same as what you can buy at an MT event."

Licsidio says to Zinchaga, "I wasn't here last year."

Parned says, "Im more so thinking about stuff like the weapons in the shop for 9 moths of points you can get 2 weapons and a holder right."

Tullie asks Parned, "You sound like you have a lot of ideas for the squat bungalow. Would you be interested in emailing dr-events@play.net?"

Parned says, "But the thing is the weapon compared to any hara or even hgt made is better."

Tullie says, "It's an easier way for me to track and remember."

Licsidio exclaims to Parned, "I will help compose that email!"

Voranos says, "Whis parned I'd be happy to swap ideas and toss them over as well."

Parned says, "Sure i can do that if that would help."

Voranos says, "Well there you go."

Tullie exclaims, "I found you a helper!"

Voranos says, "I'm in timeout."

Raxxall says, "I know the feeling."

Tullie exclaims, "Hello again!"

You say, "My question is about estate holder hunting grounds and the premium command, or more specifically documenting them."

Tullie says, "On my list."

You say, "The premium 6 command is probably 8 to 10 years out of date or so."

You say, "But if we could get a list on the forums of all of them we could at least get them on epedia. I know of at least one missing over there but there are probably others missing."

Tullie says to Winna, "I have just remembered what the thing is I wanted to look at last night."

You say, "And hopefully ya'll have a mechanic for looking those up without it being too crazy."

Tullie exclaims to you, "You're so optimistic!"

Winna says to you, "I wish that were true."

Tullie says, "I tried to add a premium hunting ground to one that already existed..."

You ask, "Put some premium into your premium?"

Tullie exclaims, "Extra Premium!"

Gwenddolyn asks, "Did anyone ever figure out a way into it?"

Tullie says, "Oh - after we finish question round - I'm going to have a question for you guys."

Tullie says, "I do hope the new Premium hunting areas have been appreciated."

Winna exclaims, "Yay Strike Team!"

Tullie says, "I tried to have us focus on the hunting grounds that were busy and/or requested to start. We have, another handful or so we're eyeing up to add more to."

Kalinandra says, "Ooooh yes. I can't even use them all but it gives me warm fuzzies to see the changes."

Zinchaga says, "Yes, those are quite helpful."

You say, "Oh, if you do get that list together it would also be nice to know which ones you can lead non-estate holders into."

You say, "I know some work like that and some don't."

Tullie says, "I..."

Tullie says, "Intentionally asked them to turn that setting off in the recent releases."

You ask, "Globally or going forward?"

Tullie says, "My goal, is to have the hunting grounds available for Estate Holders."

Tullie says, "Most likely, going forward."

Tullie says, "The problem with letting Estate Holders lead folks in is, they lead their friends in and then leave them."

Rifkinn says, "As if this crowd would do that."

Tullie says, "What? No, definitely not you guys."

Tullie says, "You're all great and here and lovely people."

Licsidio says, "Next thing we know, estate holders will be charging ferry fee's into estate holder hunting grounds."

Elizzibiana slowly says to Licsidio, "Now thats a good idea."

Tullie says, "Ok, moving along."

Rafano proudly says to Licsidio, "I've never been more proud of a Trader in my life."

Licsidio says, "I'm jumping on that boat first."

Licsidio asks, "It's my turn?"

Tullie exclaims, "It is!"

Winna exclaims, "Yup!"

Rifkinn quietly says to Rafano, "Yeah, well someones gotta."

Licsidio says, "Exciting."

Licsidio asks, "Caaaaan we get this bottle of perfume raffled off already??"

Tullie says, "I..., uh."

Gwenddolyn exclaims, "She used the perfume already!"

Tullie says, "I was hoping no one noticed..."

Licsidio exclaims, "I'm not your average elephant!"

Winna says, "It's been one of those months. I'm sure Tullie can look into getting the perfume bottle raffled."

Licsidio says, "I'm not asking cause I want it, I'm asking cause I want to see what is next."

Tullie says, "I suppose I can squeeze it into June, but now I need a prize and gift idea for July."

Sortny says, "Rotten tomatoes."

Ulryg asks, "When he is training stealth, he often finds the leather armor he uses which is flare armor pulls him out of hiding the armor flares. Is there anyway to turn the flare off?"

Licsidio asks Tullie, "Do you take suggestions?"

Ulryg says, "Woops."

Tullie says to Licsidio, "Gladly."

Ulryg says, "My apologies."

Licsidio asks Tullie, "What would be the appropriate method of making a suggestion?"

Illthorne says, "You can remove the flares with a sigil, can't turn them off."

Tullie says, "Hello, my name is Tullie. I take suggestions in person or email."

Winna says, "To dr-events@play.net."

Licsidio exclaims, "Fantastic!"

Kalinandra says, "You can break the flare, but not disable it. I asked for a long time cuz empath flare things Then we got a nifty update that flare isn't shocking."

Tullie says, "I should note - I welcome, welcome, welcomeeee ideas for both the monthly gift and the raffle prize."

Tullie says, "Keep in note, raffle prizes are supposed to be good but will usually not be MT prize level."

Tullie asks, "So keep your suggestions reasonable?"

Gwenddolyn says, "Free ltb points."

Licsidio says, "But of course."

Tullie says, "Ok then..."

Bakar asks, "I'm up?"

Tullie exclaims, "Bakar again!"

Bakar says, "Just the first time."

Winna says, "We take ideas, but we can't guarantee that our methodology will be exactly what you envisioned, so fair warning."

Bakar says, "Circling back to what Raxxal was talking about."

Tullie says, "Oh, well, you asked something earlier I'm sure."

Bakar says, "I'm in the cohort of old timers that game back and found this lovely premium promo. I did make an f2p the first week to relearn some systems."

Bakar says, "Are there any plans to expand some returning player... services of any sort? A lot of us came back with a lot of excitement and have been learning systems and back training."

Winna asks, "Define services?"

Bakar says, "But I know at least a few who haven't really found a way into the RP aspects groups or storylines."

Rifkinn says, "4 Rexp."

Bakar says, "I've been fortunate that my guild mates have a couple discords that have been a great resource and place to start learning about storylines but others havent been so lucky."

Tullie says, "I think that is always an issue for returning characters."

Bakar says, "It just seems like there is a fair amount of interest from some returning players to breath life into the RP aspects of the game but no one really knows how or where to get involved."

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Couple of open storylines that folks can jump into."

Winna says, "Elanthipedians have created some awesome guides on game updates and things for returning players to learn about."

Tullie says, "I know when I returned from my 7 year break, I struggled to find a social circle and RP. It wasn't until I got involved with an order that I really felt like I started getting there."

Winna asks, "Is that what you mean?"

Bakar says, "Sort of, I know this is a big convo and debate and i've read someone's throrough breakdown about the atmosphere in DR vs GS etc."

Winna says, "For storylines, The First Land Herald is really awesome in talking about current events and storylines."

Bakar says, "But I think some sort of GM level welcome back (I know there are the mentors) could go a long way. Especially for those who are debating whether to keep paying for premium."

Winna says, "The newsletter can be found IG and is also updated on Elanthipedia."

Tullie asks Winna, "I make them hunting grounds. I open more housing. I plan an entire auction... Now he wants me to RP?"

Rifkinn asks, "And?"

Rifkinn says, "The fella is talkin real."

Rifkinn says to Bakar, "I like the cut of ya jib Sir... keep it up."

Tullie says, "We're moving into territory I can't comment on too much, because it's outside of my arena..."

Bakar says, "There is truth, I know three people who may not continue because they never found community even though they enjoy training up."

Tullie says, "But I will say, where we can - we are absolutely doing what we can to support Player driven events."

You exclaim, "Give us their names!"

Tullie says, "I can't comment on how much world wide or provincial events are happening because, I'm not involved in most of them."

Rifkinn says, "And its been really good."

Rifkinn says, "Fantastic even."

Winna says, "Both players and the GM Events Team have been working together for fun plotting and I definitely suggest reading The First Land Herald to learn about them."

Bakar says, "Cool, it's not a criticism, just an observation that there is fresh blood and energy that probably just needs some hand holding and direction."

Winna says, "Often events are also posted on the DR Prime Calendar."

Winna says, "And if you're interested in participating and it suits your character, I'd also suggest joining in."

Sortny says, "Go to the order events...that's what I did when I returned..."

Tullie says, "So, I will say - something that you can do if you have an event you want to run... is email us. We're happy to put things on the calendar to advertise for you."

Bakar says, "Well if everyone wants to bother Arvydas, I won't stop you."

Tullie says, "Join an order, see how they manage and run their events."

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Folks have been gwething about stuff and gweths are no longer area limit normally like before."

Tullie says, "I can't plug you into a story line directly, but if you look and ask - theyr'e there."

Tullie says, "Heck, make your own story line."

Tullie says, "Obviously, i'm probably not going to let you burn down Crossing but - for me. I loved the little RPs."

Tullie says, "I loved creating and building my weird, quirky characters and just exploring and interacting with others."

Bakar says, "Like I said, just a general observation from someone who has a really soft spot in their heart for these realms. I'd love to see returning players play a roll in bringing back some of the magic."

Bakar says, "If I hear any good constructive suggestions i'll send them over."

Bakar says, "Maybe we need an Elanthia AARP."

Tullie says, "Please do, I love engaging with folks where and when I can. But, you all keep me pretty busy trying to find new things to give you."

Bakar says, "Or a slogan like... MEGA."

Bakar says, "I hear that and it seems like a lot of your time is spent on building mechanics."

Tullie says to Bakar, "Please never say that again."

Tullie says, "Elanthia's already great."

Bakar says, "Sorry, I couldn't find the sarcasm highlight there."

Winna says, "I'd prefer not to mix RL politics in DR fantasy world."

Licsidio exclaims to Bakar, "I laughed!"

Tullie says, "Moving along..."

Sortny says, "Hey there."

Sortny asks, "Was wondering if the shop in Chelsea Overlook would ever be opened?"

Sortny says, "Long ago when GM Meriel planned it...it was supposed to be a curio shop."

Sortny says, "Things change...so nae sure if there are any plans."

Tullie says, "Ah, yes. And then it got taken over by... someone else."

Tullie says, "I'm not sure what the plans are for it currently, but I know I looked at it sometime in the last year."

Tullie says, "It's definitely not ready to open and I don't have a timeline on if it ever will be."

Sortny says, "That's a shame."

Sortny says, "Kind of a waste of space in the neighborhood."

Sortny says, "That's all I had."

Tullie says, "I'll add it to my list of things to look at, but it'll be after squat bungalow and dragon's horde revamps."

Tullie says, "And those are slow going..."

Ulryg says, "I was going to ask if there is a way to transfer simu coins into ltb or cash to ltb."

Rafano quietly says to Dantia, "I'm going to step out. Take notes on the rest for me."

Ulryg says, "I know some of the stuff in the bungalo you need to be playing for about 12 months plus to get your hands on."

Tullie says, "Well, you can't transfer simucoins..."

Tullie says, "But I think you can contact billing and backpay a lot of months of premium to "buy" ltb points..."

Tullie says to Ulryg, "Not sure how helpful that answer is."

Ulryg asks, "I don't need to backpay I am up to date?"

Tullie says, "If you want to buy more ltb points, the only way would be to backpay months..."

Tullie says, "We don't really sell them directly anywhere."

Ulryg asks, "Ah ok so pay for a few months ahead?"

Tullie says, "No, you'd have to pay for past months. We don't pre-pay either."

Tullie says, "It's complicated, basically. No you can't buy ltb points."

Winna says, "If you've have consecutive Premium sub since 1998ish or so."

Winna says, "Then you'll have the max amount of LTB points possible."

Tullie says, "What she said."

Winna says, "But if you've had any lapse in active Premium subscription, you could backpay."

Winna asks, "Does that make sense?"

Rifkinn says to Ulryg, "If you have months when you were basic subbed... you pay the diffrence and you get the LTB's."

Tullie says, "Moving along as we've moved into billing territory."

Ulryg asks, "Or create another character that goes premium or another premium account and back pay it to the start of this one?"

Voranos says, "I'll try be brief. First, I want to thank you for all the hunting additions especially shadowfrost moths and huge thanks to Cordullia for the flexibility and help with layout and spawn."

Winna exclaims, "Cordulia is awesome!"

Voranos says, "Second, can you confirm if weapons and armor are out of scope in general for Estate Holder auctions? I've only seen two including this one and they seem to be predominantly clothing themed so I was just curious if that is to be the expectation going forward. Thank you for putting it together."

Winna says, "For this specific auction, because it's been a while since there's been one, the goal was to have something fun and more light."

Winna says, "I think Tullie's intention is to not have multiple year gaps in between Estate Holder auctions."

Winna says, "So weapons and armor aren't out of scope in general."

Voranos says, "That would be great, thanks again for putting it all together."

Voranos asks, "Final question, with regards to LTBs, revamping the entire shop seems daunting so what do you think about breaking it down into themes such as clothing, utility, weapons and armor from a strike force type mentality to see what could get done in a shorter period of time rather than the entire shop or system?"

Winna says, "'So I'm the jerk that dumped the Squat Bungalow and Dragon's Horde revamp project into Tullie's lap when I got pulled into other projects."

Winna says, "And it absolutely is like staring into a 20 year old hoarder garage."

Winna says, "You know if you focused on it and didn't do anything else but work on it, you could kick it out in a few weeks."

Gwenhwyfach says, "Just like my vault."

Voranos says, "I don't think anyone would object if we got say 5 new items that we all found that they added value in some way one week, another 5 another week."

Winna says, "But we all have stuff we can't stop doing to focus on a single project."

Zinchaga says, "The best way to deal with a hoarder garage is to pull everything out at once and take it to the dump, then hose the place down and start fresh."

Winna says, "And you're right. Taking it in bits and pieces would make it more doable."

Tullie says, "Circling back, I think Premie auctions will... end up every other year. I'm still negotiating a little over that."

Winna says, "I didn't want to empty out the bungalow and leave you guys nothing to buy except that almanac."

Winna says, "Well.. the two versions of it."

Tullie says, "The two updates are sort of intertwined because, I want to move some of those lower cost items from Squat Bungalow over to Dragon's Horde."

Tullie says, "And then figuring out what items you all will value FOR your LTB points."

Winna says, "Really what would be nice is if Tullie and I got to go on vacay and just hammered out the Squat Bungalow Dragon's Horde stuff."

Winna says, "But we also need final approval for what we do with our higher ups."

Winna says, "Because we can't run rogue."

Tullie says, "I mean, I can for a minute but they're going to notice pretty quick..."

Tullie says, "And you might all miss me after that."

Winna says, "Goodbye 12th rotating shop that then opens it up to more things."

Tullie says to Winna, "They probably don't want a weapon shop anyway."

Gwenhwyfach says, "Just follow the perfume trail."

Winna says, "But you're right Voranos. We've dragged that project a lot longer than either Tullie or I would wish it."

Voranos says, "Alright that's all I had, thank you. And thanks for the events and releases."

Winna says, "And Tullie and I seriously need to coordinate our calendars and see if we can carve out a block of time to just focus on that soley."

Tullie says, "I'm going to look at resorting my upcoming priorities."

Voranos says, "I think even small changes would be great though."

Winna says, "Small changes are difficult because we need to completely assess items and figure out valuations to LTBs."

Tullie says, "I'm hesitant on making too many small changes before we plan out our overall plan, simply because i don't want to immediately... change it."

Winna says, "And get approval on our valuations."

Winna says, "Because we don't want to keep on fluctuating prices."

Winna says, "That would be unfair if we decided to drop or raise the LTB price on the same item."

Tullie says, "I'm going to move us to the next question but again reminder - I have a question for folks after we get through the 'your' question rounds."

Tullie says, "It may or may not be about LTBs and the Bungalow."

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Fast request, next time you do a Jisi raffle can ya please let us know its not in the normal gift and monthly raffle tent but to the west? Few folks missed one recently due to confusion over where it was, myself included."

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Thats all."

Tullie says, "Given that I've only done one raffle..."

Tullie says, "I think I know the one you mean."

Tullie exclaims, "Raffles are also on my to-do list!"

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Most likely."

Tullie asks, "Also, did I mention I'm bad at maps?"

Tullie exclaims, "I think EVERYTHING is in the cabana!"

You say, "Maybe a sign at the portal that lists what is where."

Winna says, "I had to tell her not to direct everyone to the cabana."

Winna says, "And pointed out that we were in the gazebo."

Tullie says to Winna, "I mean, my forums post for today said Cabana."

You say, "For the time sensitive stuff."

Tullie says, "Clearly, the cabana is the best room."

Tullie says, "That particular raffle was an extremely last minute decision."

Tullie says, "I wasn't even sure if I had enough items to do them."

Tullie says, "I'll try to do better with my directions next time."

Tullie says, "Alternatively, everyone learns to never trust me when I say cabana."

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Thank you both for all you do anyways, we do appreciate them."

Tullie exclaims, "Bakar again, for real this time!"

Bakar asks, "Last one from me. How do I remove my name from the question list if I signed up again by accident?"

Tullie says, "Well, that'll do it."

Sortny says, "Leavelist."

Tullie says, "You can LEAVE list next time."

Bakar exclaims, "Thank you!"

Licsidio asks Tullie, "What is the prize for answering your questions right?"

Tullie says, "Which is super useful to know when HE comes around and we have multiple merchants working and you realize you're on the wrong list."

Tullie asks Licsidio, "I have good ideas for future things?"

Winna says, "We should do alterer roulette again."

Winna says, "That was fun."

Tullie exclaims to Winna, "I LOVED my game!"

Licsidio says to Tullie, "I like your style."

Tullie exclaims, "I think I almost killed a few of the other GMs but, like - chaos mode was delightful!"

Winna exclaims to Sortny, "It really wasn't as bad as it sounds!"

Tullie exclaims to Sortny, "You just didn't know which merchant was going to do your alteration!"

Sortny says, "Likely story."

Tullie says, "Until you entered the room."

Kalinandra says, "Oh I'm not nearly prepared enough for that."

Sortny says, "I think they know that."

Tullie asks, "Now then, any last questions before I ask mine?"

Kalinandra says, "I've had some super fantastic luck with alterations though. I feel like if I sign up for anymore, I'm just being greedy."

You ask, "Not a question but a suggestion?"

You ask, "Back when Naohhi (i think) was doing her thing, she had just-one-thing alteration sessions. Any chance we could see some mini-alteration sessions like that in the future?"

You say, "Where it wouldn't be a full blown alteration, just a tweak of items."

Tullie says, "I, have been working to get at least 1 merchant into the Cabana (no for real, the real cabana) at least 1x a month. I think we missed this month..."

Tullie says, "We could look at doing a just-one-thing session with more folks also."

Tullie says, "I think, that one can also be hard to set expectatoins."

Tullie says, "I love you guys, but sometimes you are uh... surprisingly creative."

Tullie exclaims, "Now then, on to ME!"

Illthorne says, "You didn't join the list."

Tullie exclaims, "ME!"

Tullie says, "Now then, I want to preface that you don't have to answer this today. You can totally sit on it, think about it, talk to your friends... please, talk to your friends."

Tullie asks, "But my question: What DO you want to see in the Squat Bungalow and Dragon's Horde? How do you want to spend LTB points? What consummable items feel valid and useful to you?"

Tullie says, "I don't want to spend weeks thinking, planning, plotting, building and having you all hate it."

Tullie says, "And tell me I missed the mark. I want to know what you want."

Sortny asks, "Do ye know what will stay in either shop?"

Tullie says, "I suspect i won't be able to give you a lot of what you ask for, but I can tweak it. If I can can make it fit the parameters, I will."

Sortny asks, "Regardless of what we suggest?"

Tullie says to Sortny, "The almanac."

Winna says, "The almanac will stay."

Winna says, "People will riot if we remove that."

Sortny asks, "What about the scrolls?"

Winna says, "And I worked too hard to get that in."

Tullie says, "And the alteration, title, ezatmo scrolls."

Rifkinn says, "Wands, dispell and ward break."

Tullie says, "Heck, I'm even contemplating evaluating how the current scrolls are setup."

Voranos asks, "Perhaps it would help to have a little perspective on limitations to guide our suggestions?"

Licsidio says, "Easy fix (i think) is if I'm spending 9 months of LTB's on a weapon, it needs to be drastically better than forged HCS (currently a couple weapons are better by 1 point in 1 stat, while the rest are even with, HCS forged)."

Winna says, "Few overlaps with exclusive MT items."

Sortny asks, "Ask and ye might receive?"

Tullie says to Voranos, "No auction-grade items. Probably no MT items."

Tullie says, "If I do put out an MT-like item, it's going to be at a lesser quality with higher caps."

Tullie says, "Or, maybe I mean lower caps."

You ask, "Are MT incidental levels fair game?"

Rifkinn asks, "Even on a consumable?"

Tullie says, "Basically, it probably won't be as good as what you can buy at MT as a PRIZE."

Winna asks, "Depending on the type, but should mostly be okay?"

Tullie says, "Incidentals are, potentially possible - unless you're looking at Droughtman's."

Tullie says, "Do not use Droughtman's as your guide...."

Winna says, "It's difficult to say in a general way."

Tullie says to Rifkinn, "It depends on the consummable."

Rifkinn says, "Like a limited use wand."

Winna says, "Some overlaps work fine like flared weapons and armor."

Tullie says, "Maybe, I'd have to run that one by the Superiors."

Tullie says, "I honestly want you all to spend your dang LTB points."

Tullie says, "Which means, figuring out what to put out so you do."

Sortny says, "Nae! then I could nae horde them."

Tullie says, "They do no good if everyone is hoarding them."

Illthorne asks, "The problem with this, from a customer perspective, is that in the new "MT Era" (tm) of Dragonrealms... LTBs have a $$ value. Why would $ spent on subscriptions be ultimately less valuable than $ spent at MTs?"

Rifkinn quietly says to Tullie, "And pass me your bank details later."

Licsidio says, "We want to spend them, but we want to see value in their expendature."

Illthorne says, "I realize there is no easy answer to that. It's a Lyneya level product decision."

Winna says, "Premium benefits aren't only LTB points though."

Tullie says, "It's not a 1-1 value necessarily, because..."

Tullie says, "Yeah, most of your premium benefits are NOT the LTB points."

Illthorne says, "That's fair."

Winna says, "You get extra character slots, extra wear slots, homes, more storage, more hunting."

Tullie says, "Extra vault space, type ahead lines, private hunting grounds, homes, etc..."

Sortny asks, "Oh what about the shops on the pier too?"

Winna says, "If your only valuation of premium benefits are LTB points, then absolutely, it's not worth your money."

Tullie says, "Fang Cove..."

Rifkinn asks, "Oh... homes?"

Tullie says, "That fancy new weapon shop that's coming out..."

Winna says, "Estate Holders have lower coin exchange rates when you go to Premie banks."

Winna says, "Free vault transfers, etc."

Kalinandra says, "Flare voucher for each type of flare. doesn't need to be top tier flare (obvious MT crossover) but maybe for RP value I don't want my ice mage having fire flare."

Voranos says, "That's fair Tullie but I'll be honest in that I'm presently plat to get LTBs for a specific LTB item so I'd say the value is still very high."

Illthorne says, "I think what would be cool then is items that interact with other systems, IE... potency crystals."

Tullie says to Voranos, "You crazy. Also never change."

Voranos says, "And....done."

Tullie says, "Potency crystals are already in there I believe."

Winna says, "Oh, potency crystals and infuser crystals will for sure stay."

Licsidio asks Tullie, "Did you hear my statement about the weapons being a 9 month LTB value but being equal to steel forged?"

Illthorne says, "Because things like, getting base level exo weapons from the bungalow, and then upgrading them with things like potency crystals so they CAN reach MT quality."

Tullie says, "I would plan on leaving potency crystals, infuser stones, the golden gadget...."

Winna says, "Embiggeners are fun."

Licsidio says to Tullie, "Not being a jerk, just asking to ensure."

Tullie says, "I can't really say anything else I want to add, because if it's not there... I don't want to get your hopes up."

Tullie says to Licsidio, "Weapon review is on my list and I know what I want to do there."

Ssarek says, "Character customisation is always nice. A salon of some sort for those who can't access shifting, or can't be bothered to track down an Empath."

Tullie exclaims, "I opened the beauty salon in Leth!"

Ssarek says, "Oh. Right. I read that."

Tullie says, "But yes, I have contemplated a special series of feature mirrors for Premies either in squat bungalow or dragon's horde."

Sortny asks, "But they only do certain things, nae?"

Raxxall says, "Ive been away so long I dont know what most of that stuff is so Ill let the people that know deciede."

Winna says, "While certain things need adjusting, don't forget LTB CLAIM."

Illthorne says, "Customizations are always good."

Winna says, "Don't ever do LTB CLAIM coin though."

Winna says, "The inflation has really borked that."

Tullie says, "Oh yeah, please don't do LTB claim coin."

Sortny asks, "Why?"

Zinchaga asks, "Should that just be turned off?"

Winna says, "'Inflation."

Winna says, "10 ltb points per platinum isn't good."

Tullie says, "You get 1 plat per 10 ltb points...."

Tullie says, "It's uh, not your best bang for buck."

Tullie asks, "Good if you need 1 plat in an emergency?"

Sortny says, "Hmm."

Winna says, "It's stated fairly clearly so if someone is dead set for it they could."

Tullie says, "Kind of expensive if you want 100..."

Winna asks, "I just don't think it's worth it?"

You say, "I mean you could argue that most of LTB Claim suffers from that."

Winna says, "The free ferry is kind of nice."

Ssarek says, "I've used transportation a few times. Because I'm lazy."

Rifkinn asks Tullie, "So where do you want the suggestions?"

Winna says, "Favors can be nice if you're past the first easy 20ish."

Tullie says, "Please email to dr-events@play.net."

Rifkinn asks, "Oh events?"

Tullie says, "I don't have a better email for you..."

Sortny says, "Alright, but be prepared for incoming..."

Sortny asks, "What should the title be?"

Rifkinn asks, "And if i want to pester you about smoke images?"

Tullie says, "Squat Bungalow Suggestions for Tullie."

Tullie says, "Makes it real obvious it's for me."

Sortny says, "Alright."

Tullie says to Rifkinn, "I need to dive into the smoke system a bit more and make sure no one else wants to work on it..."

Rifkinn says to Tullie, "No problem, but that would be really good,."

Tullie says, "Anyway, thank you kindly for your time today folks."

Tullie says, "I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and questions and I hope you felt this was time well spent."

Elizzibiana slowly says, "Thank you."

Voranos says, "Thank you both."

Strithas says, "Take care."

You say, "Thanks Tullie, Winna."
