I wasn't able to catch you in game, but I wanted to let everyone know what happened.

While it is true that with normal metals the expected behavior when mixing same-volumes is the higher weighted material becomes the alloy, rare metals have always adhered to a different set of rules that must be figured out through trial and error. The result of your mixing may not have been expected, but it wasn't a bug. Just in case, I walked through the process myself and verified this is the intended behavior, and not the result of any recent change or adjustment to the system.
