While I'm at it, here's something else to look at. Still subject to change and suggestions; my goal is that no one element is clearly superior or inferior to the others. Having some sort of theme within the element is also nice, but not at the expense of balance.

If an ability falls within your elemental alignment, the cost is halved.
If an ability falls within your elemental opposition, the cost is doubled.

Aether:
Perceive Pathway (unlike other abilities, aether alignment allows you to do this for free)
Summon Familiar

Air:
Focus Precise
Focus Quick

Earth:
Focus Defend
Focus Power

Electricity:
Focus Accuracy
Elemental Barrage

Fire:
Focus Damage
Focus Conserve

Water:
Focus Ease
Focus Secrecy
