One of the advantages of being a Necromancer is they get the better side of Sorcery interactions, but it's still not a great picture when it comes to necromancy vs. holy magic.

Unsullied and Redeemed Necromancers can use Holy magic with no special penalty. Forsaken Necromancers will auto-fail any Holy spell. Clerics and Paladins can get off Necromancy spells, but at a terrible cost to their Devotion or Soul State. There is no circumstance that mitigates this.

Beyond Holy magic, Necros find it generally easier (but not necessarily safer) to conduct Sorcery than the average magicians.
