Hmm, well I have been kicking around having some events that cause item damage if the base durability isn't above a certain level. Kind of a way to balance the potency vs durability issue. If you have the repair techniques then sure, use the fast tools. But there shiould still be a market for slow and durable.
As for RTs, would you prefer more actions with a smaller RT for each? I kept RTs a bit high to allow for more ways of reducing them. Keep in mind that abilities and spells and enchantments to reduce RTs are not in place yet, so they may seem a little bit high in some cases. As for weapon difficulty, I would be surprised if swappable weapons aren't highly sought after... and basties and war swords are pretty high up there. Perhaps the existance of old basties is tempering those a bit. Tons of blunt weapons are currently being overlooked because of Combat, but well,, that will get fixed. My stats are showing people going for heavier armors over lighter armors. I would tend to agree that defenses > armor right now in most cases at high ranks, but the numbers speak for themselves! And yes, I was really asking how people like that different tools derive potency in different manners. | |
