| If a character dies in the Astral Plane, then anything in the player's hands will be dropped in the plane and will almost certainly be lost. Dropped items do not follow the character's body out of the plane, and it is very, very unlikely that it can be found by returning to the AP.
This is how the system is intended to operate. It is not a bug. Items dropped in the AP will not be replaced by GM's. The best advice is to stow anything before entering the AP. If you have something that cannot be worn or stowed, then you should ask whether it is worth risking that item to possible loss before entering the AP with the item in your hand. | |
