| Correct, with absolutely no modifiers the odds of a curse are 50%. With a perfectly bonded tool, high skill and a full pool the odds of a curse are quite small.
The problem is most people don't have perfectly bonded tools (or even close) and I might be weighting skill/pool too lightly. It's something I'll be reviewing in the future. Further it will never be 100% every time, prediction is incredibly powerful and flexible and the odds of it going wrong are needed to keep any semblance of game balance. | |
