<<Dragonralms is one of the funnest games on the market.>>

Agreed.

<<Lets face it, the only reason its so expensive is because there are not enough players.>>

An increase in subscribers is not guaranteed to result in a decrease in cost. It only means you can afford to lower prices with less risk. So no, it's not the "only" reason. We still have bills and internal costs that don't go down even if we had 2000 more subscribers. If anything, they go up. More subscribers just makes it easier to pay those costs, since the cost isn't directly tied to the increase in subscribers.

<<A little advertising could go a long way.>>

History would say otherwise. We've advertised quite a bit and the results have been identical to times when no advertising was done. When we have money in the budget, advertising is an option, but please do not assume that DR is one ad away from 2000 people online at any given time.

<<In reality charging so much for "convenience" isn't even logical when your talking about $40 total a month. How is spending more real life money convenient?>>

You're mixing your terms here. I never said Premium existed to make it more convenient for you to spend money. Premium exists to give you options that increase convenience in the game.

<<Its just to make up for the fact you have too few subscriptions.>>

We covered this, but we've had Premium for quite some time now and it's always cost more than a basic account, regardless of how many customers we've had.

<< Advertisement could make Dragonrealms huge.>>

See above.

<<Charging $40 for a MUD is like asking someone to pay to lease a Mercedes but only allow them to drive a Kia.>>

This is why we aren't charging $40 for a text based game. We're charging $14.95. To correct your example, if you'd like to drive a Mercedes, you should expect to pay more than you'd pay for a Kia. Both are cars. Both will get you where you're going. One just gets you there with more perks, be they actual benefits like more safety features or the ability to drive itself or just fluffy things like leather seats.

<<I'm not going to say anything else about this issue, but I hope you consider making more of Fang Cove available to your paying customers.>>

There are no plans to make Fang Cove into a non-Premium area after the preview is over.

Now, as we said, let's get back on topic.

Thanks.
