| If it specifically functions by casting a spell, it's going to go bye-bye, because the mechanics of how spells are being cast / prepared / handled are different. It's also simply not possible to write a generic auto-conversion.
So if you have limited use spell-casting devices, we strongly suggest you go ahead and enjoy their use now or near-now. | |
