That's pretty much how it's written now. The Gods were involved in the creation / sanctifcation of the Paladin Soul, but after that it sort of it went its own direction, with its own purpose. >>If paladin lore is even half as interesting and well-written as moon mage and necromancer lore, then I'm one really excited player. It suffers only by the fact it was written by one person, instead of the collaborative efforts of the others (which resulted in much more lore). Everything I've read to now has been ambiguous and yet it's the single most important facet of the guild. If someone knows, really knows, what's up with the Paladin's soul, they'd have a pretty complete understanding of the hows and whys of the way some Paladins NPCs have acted in the past.
