If parry is bypassed, the parry ranks switch to evasion.

If shield is bypassed, its ranks are just zero'd out.

If parry and shield are bypassed, the stance points there transfer over putting evasion at a 150% cap.

If shield and evasion are bypassed, the stance points transfer over to parry until it hits a 160% cap.

If parry and evasion are bypassed, the stance points transfer over to shield until it hits a 160% cap.


Not ideal by any means. We still have some thinking to do on how to best balance this. But this should help blunt the awesome potential of DFA spells. DFA isn't very useful if your opponent has evasion as his highest defense.

Evasion is only boosted to 150% for DFA because evasion as a whole is a more robust defense, and this is one of its few limitations.
