The real issue with this is that any given container has:

a three dimensional size
a maximum three dimensional size it will stretch to
a flexibility rating (how much "give" it has while reaching that max stretched size)
a maximum value for the weight it will hold
a maximum value for the size of an item it will hold

So comparing two containers isn't just a matter of glancing at them and getting a single simple answer of "which one will hold more".

You've all seen this in practice when you can put a load of items in a bag and have one thing not fit, but if you pull something out, but the last item in and then put the previously removed item in, it will fit.
