Records that are contemporary with the G'nar Pethian movement take it for granted that there was a historical man called G'nar Peth at the center of the movement. A lot of people who know the basics of how G'nar Pethians operate suggest that's way too simple and propose a G'nar Peth ideal or myth instead. This really has no collaboration in history, instead it tries to predict an anticipated perversity in G'nar Pethian histories. Privately, among G'nar Pethians... who knows? The status of their messiah-figure and the nature of his miraculous sight is about as central to their mystery religion as it gets. They do not, or perhaps cannot even, give a straight answer. -Armifer
