I'd like to redo how appraising enemies work to show things like...

1). Buffs/debuffs on the enemy
2). How your armor skill is affecting your combat ability
3). Better idea of how much vitality the enemy has now vs total (since vitality will matter a lot more with bosses)
4). With high skill - possibly damage resistances and things.

With that knowledge you should be able to quickly gauge how things stack up.

>>If you had a very light piece of plate armor and a superdense piece of chain armor, with identical protection stats and hindrances, are you saying the plate is going to be more protective "just because it's plate"?

I am trying to avoid that if possible. It just gets too confusing if folks have to consider hidden modifiers in the background. It also makes comparing armor types useless.

The only thing you "may" see is the protection or absoption on an armor category change across the board. If this were to happen, it would be visisble on both the appraise and the compare. Only with extended testing will we hone in on the proper values to offer a balanced combat experience.
