Details

Early Life

Convincing her sister, Cythra, they traveled to Eastern Kermoria where, before reaching Crossing, they were ambushed and separated. After losing her assailant, she searched for what seemed like an age and eventually found her wounded sister. Lacking the strength to drag her sister to town, she ran to Crossing, eventually making it to the Empath guild and Salvur himself. Begging for him to save his sister, he reluctantly declined for reasons unknown. He did provide her with remedies and healing agents to save her sister. By the time she got back to where her sister was left, Cythra was gone. This was the first and only time she has ever sung the Wheel Song.

Fearing her sister dead, she traveled to back to Crossing and begged to become an Empath. Being too young, Salvur would not allow her to join, but instructed her to travel to Riverhaven to assist Guildleader Nebela. Before leaving, she promised Salvur that, when old enough, she would only join the guild with his blessing, and by him personally. After being escorted to Riverhaven, she spent several years learning, cleaning and otherwise being as helpful as possible to the guild leader. Guildleader Nebela eventually sent her to Shard to assist Guildleader K'miriel.

Once reaching the proper age, she returned to Crossing and, keeping her promise to Salvur, joined the Empath Guild. Shortly after joining, she found her sister in Crossing. She also found her closest friends, her new family.

The Assault On Basalt

Hearing about the assault on Basalt, though young in the guild, she agreed to participate in triage. For her, Basalt was the scariest and dangerous situation she had ever been in. While assisting in triage, she was taken into a fleshy prison. It took her some time to punch her way out through the walls. She came out in the chaos of the battle of the front lines, Eskila was there to pull her out and take her back to triage. To this day, she still has nightmares of that fleshy prison.

The Nightmare

Suddenly, thick burls of fat, muscle, and sinew explode from the ground and wrap around your body, enclosing you in a tight cocoon! Surrounded by darkness, you hear whispering, promises of inclusion and secrets long forgotten, and claw and spine and tooth and nail rasp along your skin, tendrils worming into your mouth and nose. You feel a thundering heartbeat, and find yourself...

You feel yourself being pulled away...

[Maze of Flesh, Bynaikae's Feast] You stand in the midst of a small cavern, every surface lined with still very much alive flesh -- stretched eyeballs blinking in confusion, a disfigured mouth gasping for breath between spiraling teeth, ears sprouting fingers that clench and unclench. It becomes impossible to keep track of the arrayed horrors. Whispers echo all around the cavern, recollections of experiences utterly foreign but disturbingly familiar. You begin to lose your place, to forget being alone in your skin, and have a strange desire to hug the walls, to lean into the comfort of the many, to remember with Them. You also see a mound of flesh. Obvious exits: obscured by a thick fog

You swing at the mound of flesh and feel your fist slam into the meaty protrusion, eliciting a loud *thud* as the mound shakes and seems to lean away from you. As you watch the flesh rearrange you resist the urge to vomit. The end never in site.
