From the Dwarven Timeline
- -1932: The Gardul Dwarves encounter a nest of baby biters and two surprised, very angry adult biters in their pipelaying efforts. Free State Dwarves, led by Berdna's Marazhal, Oknor the Wide-Armed, succeed in destroying the nest and its inhabitants after several battles that become the stuff of song and story.
