NEWS article 5-37:

Dateline 8/15/2019: GLASS CONSTRUCTS AND CONSENT

NOTE: This serves as a clarification to News 5 34 section 3. Note there have been major updates to Glass Constructs, and all players are advised to familiarize themselves PvP Policy as it pertains to these tools!

Any character now has the ability to summon glass constructs, at great personal cost and risk. This may carry consequence specific to your guild! These constructs are controlled creatures, and *do* operate and they operate under *normal* consent policy.

Q) Can I attack the character who summoned one?

A) Summoning a Glass Construct no longer sets the user to PvP Open.

Q) If I attack the construct, does the summoner get consent on me?

A) Yes! The construct operates on normal pet mechanics and policy. If you don't want to fight a Glass Construct, or the summoner of one, do not fight it!

Q) If I attack the summoner for summoning it, do they get consent?

A) Yes. This falls under normal consent rules.

Q) I'm PvP Closed but someone summoned one and that upsets me!

A) Either fight it and/or the summoner, or don't. Just like any other other conflict operating within PvP Policy.

Q) That looks like a fun event I bet it could use a construct to spice things up!

A) Sure! Using a Glass Orb certainly sends a message about the forces you're willing to use! Just remember that doing so is no different than any other conflict using pets. Failure to use these tools responsibly may result you losing the ability to do so in the future. You have been warned.
