Dateline 10/2/2002: MUTUAL RESPECT

The majority of our customers are extremely courteous and we're greatly appreciative of you helping us to do our jobs more effectively. However, we've noticed a trend with a certain segment of our customers being particularly discourteous during assists. In order to curb this, we're asking that people bear in mind during interactions with a staff member that they are due the same level of respect that you yourself expect. This means quite specifically that directly swearing at or insulting a GameMaster, Game Host or Board Monitor publicly or in private consult, may result in an official warning being issued and/or account termination. Staff members are expected to maintain those same standards of mutual respect in their customer interactions.

While we understand that certain events in the game may affect you negatively and can impact your interactions with other players or the staff, we do expect players to maintain a certain level of civility in their discussions of a problem. We don't expect this to be an issue with the general population of DragonRealms in their normal course of interactions.

If you have any questions or require clarifications regarding this policy, please feel free to express your constructive comments or concerns to DRFeedback with a subject line of RESPECT.

We hope this change will help to make our interactions a more positive experience for all involved.
