The Naked Ranger Race!

Until recently, the Naked Ranger Race was but a memory. Held several times, many years ago, only the oldest, or most senile of rangers remembered it. Revived in July 2009 by request from a number of rangers, with the help of SGM Audacia (GM at the time), the race commenced.

Involving multiple legs throughout the mainland, the racers began their quest completely naked, standing in front of Korik's Wall, in Ilithi. After seeking several hard to find items throughout Shard and the surrounds, racers were sent northwards to Leth, seeking Kartai wings, Gemish'din ribs, and a multitude of other oddities, before visiting Kalika in Crossing.

Kalika sent the adventurers, now armed with knives, to seek a viper sac as a 'seasoning' for her latest cuisine creation. Acquiring this, racers went on to the final leg, ultimately meeting Tolle in Langenfirth.

The first racer to arrive and successfully complete all the tasks was Falkonis, who won the overall championship, as well as the 100th+ category.

The Race continues to be a topic on the forums, and is scheduled to commence for the 2010 season on Sunday, March 28th, at 3PM eastern Time.
