On the banks of the Liirewsag River, where the Paasvadh Forest nears Boar Clan, craftsmen have perfected a decorative technique using carefully prepared acids, crushed local flora, and fine river silt to treat the bones of native fauna. The process coaxes forth organic patterns in bone-white, leaf-green, and rich earth-brown.

The patterns found on mossbone can vary greatly in hue and intensity, yet they often form an organic tapestry reminiscent of sunlight, leaves, and bark—blending together in a way that echoes the dappled light and shifting shadows of a lush forest in the early morning. Due to the corrosive nature of the coloring process, mossbone is always slightly textured and matte. Polishing it simply sands away its distinctive characteristics and results in plain, stained bone.

Introduced at Guildfest 453.
