Military Insignia Jewelry
During the Outcast War, the various military Official Positions were given the opportunity by Elvinara to create an insignia for their group and have items of jewelry made for each member of their team.
1st Session
The following is taken from the 1st IG session Elvinara held and outlines her guidelines:
Elvinara says, "If my scribe was lax I'm sure the unfortunately did not. Since the necessary information was not posted in public would those Commanders wishing an insignia join me please so that I may whisper the general information. It may answer some of the basic questions about what I do."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "Parden the OOC, I thought someone was going to post this last night. Let me just pass along the general structure of the sessions."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "I will provide the materials and gemstones necessary to craft the insignia. However, any rare materials or gemstones will need to be provided by the unit."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "The insignia must be crafted from a piece of jewelry, such as a pin, torque, armband or ring (to name a few). It cannot be armor, but can possibly be cambrinth for an additional fee."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "I must meet directly with the Commander of the unit, or with someone designated by the Commander as having the authority to commission her work. Designation may be provided by the Commander by sending a message to JewelerElvinara@hotmail.com -- please provide the (1) name of the Commander, (2) name of person designated to commission and (3) the name of your unit and province in which they are commissioned."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "All insignia must be identical -- there will not be different insignia crafted that differentiate between ranks. A list of all members in the unit must be provided to Elvinara so their name can be inscribed on their insignia. Additional insignia may be procured from Elvinara should members join the unit after the insignia has been crafted and delivered."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "The fee for the insignia varies depending on what you wish crafted, but generally runs between 3-15 plat per item. Multiple that by the number of members in your unit and that is the fee."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "I'm working my little fingers to the bone and will try to have the insignia crafted and returned to the unit by the next RL day."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "Also, the name and rank of each member will be placed in the READ of the item."

Candidus whispers to your group, "Hmm...I do not as yet have Sergeants, which will eventually be my Lieutenants 2nd in command. I guess that level of detail is not important."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "Yes, whatever rank they hold will be reflected."
Elvinara whispers to your group, "I'm around a lot and if something needs slightly changed like a new rank, I can change it during one of my normal sessions."
>whisper group and, one other question, sorry! If we do cambrinth, might we be able to get 'mundane' items made for the non-magic users...for instance, if it's 'a Zoluren cambrinth ring', we can get 'a Zoluren signet ring' for the others? Or do they all need to be the same
Elvinara whispers to your group, "It would be the exact same item, only one would say cambrinth and one would not."
Candidus asks, "Elvinara, if Zoluren Commanders miss you today, can they catch you when you go to Therengia or Ilithi?"
Elvinara says, "Yes, though I will first do work for the local Commanders. If I've more time I work for those that have travelled to visit me."
Elvinara says, "I will craft one item for each of your current members. Should more members be added, then I will later craft additional insignia."
