Bursts of laughter and excited shouts ring out from a game of dice being played at a corner table. Other tables and chairs are scattered haphazardly through the room, but most of the regulars perch on high stools near the bar. Apparently, the view of the buxom barmaid is more enticing from that angle. You also see a gloomy Shadow Servant, a Tavern Troupe refreshment cart with several things on it, a blue-eyed ebony kitten, a barmaid and the menu.

You strike a piece of black flint with a silversteel thin-bladed fan adorned with lotus blossoms while holding it over a brass lotus lamp, causing sparks to fly. Some of the sparks land on the lotus lamp and with a few quick breaths in the right place you manage to get a flame going.

Baylix licks a glitzy ring pop cradling a flamboyant candy emerald.

A brass lotus lamp grows dimmer.

Milja beams at Tiarmo!

Madigan chuckles.

Baylix takes a bite of the pop.

Chabelle says, "Or me doing comedy."

Hoshii wraps her arms around Wintidal in a tender embrace, pressing her cheek against Wintidal's.

Wintidal brushes his lips against Hoshii's in a loving kiss.

Milja lets out a sigh of contentment.

Tiarmo says to Hoshii, "Sweetheart I'm not going to give these another pass around."

Madigan stands near Dantia.

With a practiced flick of your wrist, you snap your thin-bladed fan closed, savoring the weight of the weapon in your fist. You switch your fan so that you can use it as a short staff weapon.

Milja takes a bite of a coffee flavored cupcake topped with sweet cream frosting and a roasted coffee bean and chews carefully on it.

Tiarmo laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.

Baylix licks a glitzy ring pop cradling a flamboyant candy emerald.

Madigan reaches over and holds hands with Dantia.

Nilme smiles at you.

Chabelle says to Madigan, "I've missed you very much, my friend."

Tiarmo quietly says to Hoshii, "I would never. You bring me snacks."

Baylix nibbles on her glitzy ring pop, finishing it.

(Mendira winds a handle that protrudes from the side of her music box, listening intently to the mechanisms within until she is satisfied the box is ready.)

Tiarmo winks at Hoshii.

Almarius exclaims, "Fire! Yaaaaay!"

Kintryn smiles at Stelling.

Madigan smiles at Chabelle.

Hoshii preens. Someone's pleased with herself!

Chabelle covers her mouth with her hand.

A brass lotus lamp's flame flutters slightly.

(Mendira picks up both of the lit lamps, placing them at the centers of her palms. Given their small size, the width of the lamps barely stretches to her fingertips. Glass petal-shaped panels set into the wrought brass glimmer in shades of white and pale pink with the light emanating from the central wicks.)

Ears tilted forward, Vixonia curls her tail around Stelling's waist loosely.

(Mendira brings her open hands to her chest, careful to hold them steady so as to not spill the lamps' oil. She gives a slight nod to the barmaid, who extinguishes the lights around the bar.)

Vixonia gasps!

Madigan gently kisses Dantia on the forehead.

Tiarmo gazes silently at you.

Hendursar smiles at Mireillere.

Iryta gawks at you.

Useff squints.

Milja grins at Vixonia.

You smile slightly as the room dims. The area would now be cloaked in darkness but for the wan light of the lotus lamps.

Iryta takes a drink of her passionfruit vodka. She looks a little wobbly, but is able to shrug off the effect without much thought.

Milja snuggled companionably beside Vixonia.

Dantia smiles at Madigan.

Tiarmo gives a slight nod.

Iryta looks happy, and like she doesn't want to move much.

Hoshii gazes at you in awe.

Vixonia trills softly at Milja.

Chabelle blinks.

(Mendira tips the lid of the music box open with her toe, the movement eliciting only the barest jingle from her toe bells.)

Iryta gets a rather glazed look on her face.

Daerlynn gets a rich raspberry truffle rolled in cocoa powder from inside her travel pack.

(Mendira's music box begins to play a delicately sweet melody, reminiscent of a soft breeze whispering through the leaves of starlit woods on a warm summer night. The opened lid reveals an intricately carved figure of a forest nymph clad in robes of layered oak leaves, spinning in time with the gentle tune.)

Hoshii traces a geometric sigil in the air.

Iryta looks very unfocused and seems to be staring at nothing with a blissful smile on her face.

Daerlynn offers Almarius a rich raspberry truffle rolled in cocoa powder.

(Mendira spreads her arms wide, her motions slow and deliberate. The flame of each lamp remains steady, illuminating her face as she keeps her eyes cast down.)

Iryta seems to be relaxed, but a bit sad.

Emyrose gazes at you.

Almarius smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.

You smile to herself as she begins to sway. Her movements begin gently, ever cognizant of the lamps upon her open palms. The music box on the floor continues to play its soft whispering melody.

Almarius gets a mug of creamy hot cocoa from inside her watersilk narwhal.

Almarius takes a huge mouthful of a gaudy ring pop set with a large yellow candy jewel and gnaws heartily on it.

Ears tilted forward, Chabelle curls her tail around Daerlynn's waist loosely.

(Mendira's lotus lamps also cast flickering light over the tiny porcelain face of the nymph within her music box, whose features glow as if in response to the wordless joy of the dance. With arms stretched high the figurine turns and twirls, her eyes closed and head thrown back.)

Everburned takes a sip of her milkshake.

You kick one foot out in a graceful arc, and with a dip of your shoulders and a tinkling of toe bells, you pirouette in a dazzling spin!

Almarius looks at you and lets out a hearty cheer on your behalf!

A brass lotus lamp's flame flutters slightly.

Almarius exclaims, "Soooooo graceful!"

Daerlynn nods to Almarius.

(Mendira dips to one side and mimics the graceful rotation of the nymph, raising her face to the ceiling with a soft inhale. The lamps' flames sway and lift with her turns, bobbing to and fro like fireflies in the dark room.)

Hendursar gazes at you.

Iryta beams at you! What a warm feeling!

Dantia grins at Madigan.

Toe bells jingling in a staccato cadence and feet a blur of motion, you throw your head back and lift your arms high in the sheer joy of dance.

(Mendira pitches forward and rises once more, smoothly raising her arms high over her head. The music box on the floor plays a few more soft notes before winding to a stop and falling silent.)

(Mendira brings her arms down and back to center at her chest, finally extinguishing the lamps with two sharp exhalations and plunging the bar into complete darkness.)
