Given Rules
Maddy drops a piece of fraying calico.
The calico sign is held in place by four small silver tacks.
There seems to be something written on it.
A piece of fraying calico reads:
"My rules:
(1) Whatever I says goes.
(2) You get three tries to give me something I will work with.
(3) If you don't give me something I will work with by the third try, you lose your spot.
(4) We can negotiate things, but refer to rule (1).
Maddy says, "Let me tell you all about my work."
Maddy says, "I work in silver. "
Maddy says, "I will work on anything within reason. I don't add any other metal but silver."
Maddy says, "I will work on anything."
Maddy says, "But I only add silver."
Maddy says, "My prices are fairly reasonable. I charge between 3 and 7 plat and I negotiate the cost with each person based on what I think the effort is worth."
Maddy says, "Please have a design ready and because I am dealing with a few more today, its 3 strikes and if I can't agree with you, its to the end of the list."
Maddy says, "I do not supply gems."
Maddy says, "So if you want gems added to a piece, you will have to supply them yourselves."
Maddy says, "I only work in silver and I work on anything, but I do not make things. I only embellish."
Maddy says, "I will work on anything so if it already has say gold in it, I will work on that. But only in so far as I add silver to it."
Maddy says, "I can make adjustments to how it looks."
<Person> asks, "Can you change something to silver?"
Maddy says, "Yes."
<Person> asks, "Can the silver be tinted?"
Maddy asks, "Tinted how?"
<Person> says, "Different colors, perhaps through alloying."
Maddy says, "No, I am sorry. Silver is only darkened or tarnished or silvery."
Maddy says, "Its silver."
<Person> asks, "i dont suppose you would make duplicates of the item of jewelry?"
Maddy says, "No I am sorry, I don't do that either. I embellish items you give me."
