Look: | A trio of slender silver rings has been pierced through the heavy leather spine of the book, lending it an increased longevity and resistance to wear. Placed at perfectly even intervals, the rings are lightly etched with a pattern of swirling fog and smoke which continues across the surface of the tome in rich henna dye. Wrapped around the middlemost ring, a tightly linked chain studded with emeralds and clasped by a small padlock closes the storybook tightly. |
