Eight richly hued blue diamonds are arranged in the form of a saltire, crowning the ring with thick silver prongs to hold the setting in place. The inside of the ring has been marred by some disfiguring scratches. There appears to be something written on it. Read: "Cross my heart and hope to die, my love for you I cannot hide."
