set of pan-pipes wound with purple leather
Look: Ten reed tubes of varying lengths, each capped with a dark wax seal, are bound to a dark bark frame by a criss-crossing web of purple leather thongs. Each pipe plays a different note as the musician moves his lips back and forth, blowing against the inner wall as he plays. Popularized by the Forest Elf clans, the instrument has a pastoral simplicity to its sound.
