| Look: | This thick steel disk is mounted on a rectangular block of brass, from which two short lengths of copper tube extend. Along the top edge of the disk, a series of graduated marks are engraved, each one slightly farther from the first. Red enameling covers a small arrow-shaped needle, set into the center of the circle, and is used to color the largest gap between the marked lines. |
