Look: | A functional showpiece created by an idiosyncratic cobbler, this peculiar footwear is well-designed despite its disparate yet complementary aesthetics. The left shoe is overlaid with dark jaspe, the liquid silver sheen of the lustrous cloth lent a mercurial appearance by the shadowed and amorphous streaked fabric. Using a similar technique, its silveress mate on the right has a harlequin-like pattern created by marquisette and midnight onyx ornamentation. |
