Look: | Twenty-four strings run from side to side on the rectangular soundbox, the tuning pegs arranged in a graceful arc to vary the string length. The soundbox features an intricate marquetry design of copperleaf fish swimming in a water opal pool beneath a linden tree. Like many of the maker's designs, a tiny nightingale perches on a branch of the tree, reflected in the water below. |
