| Look: | The mirliton is a thin tube of faded copper with a hole in its side and small pieces of thin paper glued over both ends. Along the wider portion of the instrument are a number of tiny beetles -- painted in bright reds, greens, yellows and blues. The vibrant colors make for an interesting contrast to the dull copper. |
