black leather armband tooled with a kraken
Look: Exquisitely burned into the surface of the rigid leather, the fearsome kraken has a fierce beak and long limbs splayed out from its body in curving lines that almost appear to undulate when hit by the light. One limb is held curled up in front of its face, its end-most suckers replaced with a pair of prongs sized to hold a single gem. An empty gem setting mars the armband's appearance slightly.

STUDY:

The armband appears to be capable of holding a single gem.
You think that to put a gem into the socket, you need to PUT the gem in the armband.
You also think that in order to get a gem back out, you can GET the gem FROM the armband again while holding it.
You think you can also RUB, TAP, TOUCH and CLEAN the armband.

ADDING ANY GEM:

You carefully set the howlite into the armband, pushing the tiny prongs to hold it in place, and you end up with a black leather armband tooled with a kraken clutching a chunk of howlite in its grip.
