Ranger Esulak

You see Woodsman Esulak Tevska, Hunter of Therengia, a S'Kra Mur Ranger.
Esulak has an elongated face, almond-shaped slitted gold eyes and a squared snout, camouflage scales, a straight tail and an athletic build.
He is very tall for a S'Kra Mur.
He appears to be young.
He has a tattoo of a stylized purple Seed of Entropy with lurid black streaks and wickedly sharp thorns on his shoulder.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a forest stalking cloak of variegated green and brown lotusweave, a bandolier heavily covered with thick leather leaves dyed in varying shades of green and brown, a zeltfish bone hauberk painted with a full moon, an animite cloak pin engraved with the crest of the Rangers' Guild, a light lelori forester's crossbow, a supple leather pack in tones of brown and green, a sleek arm quiver covered in death adder skins, a sleek sword belt with a machete hanging from it, a light spidersilk hip pouch stitched with a dragon ouroboros, a viciously serrated hunting knife with a firestained blade, some camouflage pants and some punka leather stalking boots dyed in various shades of forest green.

About Esulak

Esulak does not speak the S'kra Mur language and knows very little about the history, lore, culture and customs of the S'kra Mur peoples. However, he does speak some basic Rakash, knows the Rakash culture, prefers to wear the Rakash odaj and speaks excellent Common without the S'kra Mur speech hiss. He frequently visits his family who live in an unmapped area west of Langenfirth.
Esulak also great enjoys gambling and can sometimes be found on the gambling barges of Therengia or festival slot machines. Elsewise, he is rarely found in town except for visiting banks, furriers or healers.
Despite his familiarity with the Rakash and lack of knowledge about the S'kra Mur peoples, Esulak does ask Hav'roth for his favor (although not in the Religious S'kra Mur Traditional Way.)
Unlike many Rangers, he prefers Crossbows over stick Bows. He also trains in Small Edged weapons, Light Thrown weapons, and Brawling. Esulak wears a combination of Leather and Chain armors.

Ask Bartender About Esulak Gossip

"A serpent raised by wolves." He chuckles. "No, but really... He's S'kra Mur raised by a tough bunch of forest dwelling Rakash. How he got to be there though, well.. that's just rumors and speculation. It's likely that even he doesn't know. But one thing's for sure.. He's quite well-off for a lad of fifteen or so. And rising quickly as a Ranger." He leans in closer and lowers his voice when saying "Also, I heard he's been dabbling in..." The bartender glances around the room before further lowering his voice to barely a whisper, "Sorcery."

Custom Items

a forest stalking cloak of variegated green and brown lotusweave
Dappled in tone to echo the appearance of sunlight on leaves in a lush forest, the piece is cut with a careful fit intended for a sword-fighter. The alternating hues of green and brown create a camouflage that would render the wearer near invisible within a tree-line.

some punka leather stalking boots dyed in various shades of forest green
Exquisite punka leather has been dyed in a seemingly random pattern to create a camouflage pattern. Rawhide laces criss-cross through many blackened steel eyelets to secure the boots. Cut to rise just above the ankles, the high-quality, utilitarian construction would weather the forest without damage.
