Esent is a study in contradictions—a young man with the broad shoulders of a warrior but the watchful, wide-eyed gaze of a scholar. Having recently stepped into the world beyond his pack's immediate influence, he carries himself with a quiet, observant intensity. He is a Moon Mage who often feels more like a student than a master, frequently looking to the night sky for answers that his own intuition hasn't quite grasped yet.

Personality & Temperament

• The Reluctant Wanderer: While he possesses a "lone wolf" streak common to his people, it stems more from a deep-seated uncertainty than a desire for isolation. He is perpetually afraid of making the "wrong" move, leading him to observe from the shadows before stepping into the light.
• Insatiable Curiosity: His naivety is his greatest weakness and his greatest strength. He treats every new person, spell, or herb with the same earnest fascination, often forgetting his own safety in the pursuit of understanding a new piece of the world.
• Determined Underdog: Esent knows he isn't the strongest or most magically gifted in the Asemath Academy, but he has the stubbornness of a mountain. He will practice a lute chord or a cantrip until his fingers bleed, driven by a need to prove—mostly to himself—that he belongs.
• Quiet Loyalties: He doesn't seek out crowds, but for the few he calls "friend," his loyalty is absolute. He expresses his affection through small, practical gestures: a repaired strap on a boot, a shared song by the fountain, or a protective ward cast in secret.
